The room was really nice. We had two rooms with an ensuite bathroom and a small livingroom. Enough space for the five of us. The kids loved the pool.

The breakfast was a bit simple. No fresh fruit, only sugary stuff. But maybe we are used to hotel breakfasts in Europe. The most annoying was that the breakfast room was way too small for the amount of guests. We had to sit in the lobby with our plates on our lap. I also felt the staff wasn’t very hospitable. We checked in and the lady didn’t even greet us. She started with: “checking in?” in stead of at least a “hello”. If we passed staff in the hallway we greeted them, nothing came back. And also the fire alarm went off at night. All the guests were outside on the curb. Two firetrucks came. Ours kids were in bed already so they were in their underwear, barefoot. And that’s oke, because we had to evacuate, but non off the staff came to the guest to see if everybody was oke. Some kids were scared from the loud noise of the firealarm. Luckily it was a false alarm and we could go back in. The staff just handed out room keys like it was business as usual. Not informing about what happened or asking if people were oke. The next morning when we checked out we did have a very nice lady helping us. That made things better. She was the first one that gave us a smile and a genuine feeling of being welcome. Also: if you’re thinking of using a sofabed, it’s oke for small kids, but not for an adult. If you love your back, book a room with an extra bed.

The whole place was awesome from the staff and rooms .Hot tub jet need to be stronger pool was great ! Would definitely stay i the same room again loved that we had our own bathroom. Thank you for a great job

Parking but not enough to complain

We sometimes use Residence Inn by Marriot and expected certain roominess and comfort, including a small kitchen/living area. So, no surprises there. It was located well - on the main street (although it can be noisy, see below). Standard breakfast. Has laundry room. Parking free of charge.

First unpleasant surprise is the amount of noise that come from the main street. We expected it to be less noisy because it is a small town, but bikers and car drivers seems to like to show off on the street, well into the night. Which could have been solved with better noise isolation. Secondly, we had a fire alarm and evacuation in the middle of night. Standing outside for a while without anyone informing us about what was going on. And then, they just told us to go back. Even the day after, nobody provide any information , explanation or apologies let alone free night , meal or at least cup of coffee. When we asked the next day they just said "the system worked and nobody job injured". Then we asked a different person and were told that there was no actual fire and that a child hit a water sprinkler with a pillow. The those hotel was evacuated because of that?!?! So, the system did not really work because there was no fire and no smoke... obviously the management did not deal competently with the situation. If judged only on that, the overall score would not be 7 but max 1.

The room is very good, with a sofa bed, an incredible mini kitchen and beautiful lamps! The breakfast was the best in all respects, fresh food, well served, ready made waffle dough, bacon, eggs.

The indication of how to enter the hotel is very bad. We walked around the block, asked for information, I found it very impractical due to the traffic in the area.
