Hadden suite aan waterzijde. Eerste nacht bijna niet kunnen slapen vanwege lawaai. Accomodatie wel erg aan de prijs (mogelijk vanwege Canada day)

The only good thing about the room is the view. For $500 the room should be in better shape.

We liked the view. And once we could actually get into the outdoor pool we enjoyed that. Our Access card could not open the pool. We were lucky that a staff member came to clean the pool so we could get in.

Room was dirty. Dust and dirt on shelf in bathroom. On the headboard the dirt was embedded into it. (A good scrubbing with soap and water would have cleaned it) Hole in wall where someone kicked it or knocked with vacuum cleaner handle. When you opened the doors to Juliet balcony there were so many spider webs. Chair had a huge stain on it. The furniture was also very dated and old. As this was supposed to be an upscale resort. We were so disappointed. Then the so called beach was maybe 10 feet wide with logs and branches down the side of it into the water. We were afraid that we would get tangled in them. On the website they said you had access to indoor pool, outdoor pool and adult pool. But what they did not tell you was that your key card from Hotel Eldorado did not work on both outdoor pools. However if you walked 5 to 7 minutes to their other property Manteo they would give you another key card to open them. We only found this out when we tried to gain access to the pool. So to me false advertising. Why don’t they give you a key card that works for all the amenities as per their website. They also did not give us access on our key card for our whole stay. So they locked us out of our room and as the front desk was closed we had to walk to the other property Manteo to get this fix in 33C weather. Was not happy. They kept blaming it on your cell phone. My husband had the key card and I was carrying his cell phone so that was absolute rubbish. The last straw was the “our gift to you” a water bottle. The wording was as follows “We invite you to fill these new bottles at our water refilling stations”. But only give you 1 water bottle even though they said “these new bottles”. Which to anyone is at least 2. When we ask about this they said we could have another one for $17. More false advertising.

location is good. but you need a lakeview room.

you need to check in and out at another hotel，so that you need to walk. And no room services or even unserwing tbe phone between 9pm amd 9am. The room was so small. The hair dryer didn't work，and no one answered the phone call to change it.

The food in the restaurant was a but disappointing but everything else was fantastic.

Breakfast was amazing.. it's pricy but I get it.. there are lots of options.. more than you could possibly eat for sure! everything on the menu, so much sea food, traditional breakfasts, omlette bar, roast beef, turkey dinner, pastries, like i mean everything! Very cozy, comfortable, and nostalgic. Room was so quaint just perfect! and the view was amazing, staff excellent.

Went off season. wish the bar was open past 12, dinner drinks are VERY expensive, when you can go next door to buy a bottle of wine for the same price as a 9 oz glass!!?? Pool and hot tub was indoor, a bit of a detour to get there from inside, but worth it. Would have been nice to have out door hot tub???
