Had to change rooms because room smelled like cigarettes. New room had toilet break twice. Pool was closed for renovations and was not aware this would be the case when booked. Parking seemed expensive given the distance to downtown.

Parking was difficult, due to construction and the hotel was full. However, we did manage ro secure a spot. Breakfast was delicious, the staff in the restaurant was very nice and were attentive!

Room was comfortable. It’s about a 20 min walk in to town. This was fine for us but if you’re not someone who walks regularly, this may be an issue.

I chose the hotel because it had a gym. While there was detail about building work when I booked, it didn’t imply that the gym would be closed. This was disappointing. Area around pool was very dusty and would have benefited from being hosed down.

The pool was great. The property is big an the arrangement of the apartments towards the pool was nice and gave us the ability to watch our kids.

Although we were especially looking for a hotel with Fitness Center and this hotel was listed as such, the fitness center was closed for a rebuild. Neither a message about it online, nor a discount upon arrival was offered. They offered a coupon for the fitness center in town as a replacement but still, if we would have known before we wouldn’t have booked the hotel. So it felt pretty odd. The second thing is the breakfast, it was booked as included. Once you show up at breakfast time, they ask you wether you want the buffet or the meal prepared by the chef. Actually we have bin in six hotels on our trip and each time we took waffles, scrumbeld egg, bread and fruits. Now we had to decide to take one or the other, since scrambled eggs and waffles are made by the chef, everything else is on the buffet… of course you can go for both, but only one is included through the booked breakfast if you take both you have to pay for the other. Third pool time starts at 7:00 am. Kids were keen to go there only to find the stuff starting cleaning the pool right at 7:00 am.

Noise. I don’t mind the renovation but I was in room 195 and you can hear every footsteps, talking loud outside.

Our next door neighbors were so loud all night we did not get a good night sleep. They continued to talk into 5am and that is not an exaggeration.

Paid parking far from the hotel room and expensive. Terrible acoustics, in the room we could hear everything that happened outside and in the corridors. Very bad marijuana smell in the hallways, even though there are signs about being a smoke free hotel.

Beautiful property, fire pits were a plus! Staff were friendly, grounds are well kept. Short drive to Cannery Row.

Parking can be a little tight but this would not deter us from a return trip.

We loved location, restaurant and room. That they actually, heat their pools. Why, we do Hilton Hotels.

Just the lady checking us in. Mumbles. Heavy, tall black hair with bangs, shoulder length hair. No smile, hard to hear. I asked her for wine,.and snacks three times. She said, get it over there. Hard to hear and understand her. There needs to be a pleasant customer service training. Make guests feel welcome and not that we are putting her out. We did expect better gardens. Love places with flowers and better landscape. Does look outdated. Balcony of 300 not very nice. But I'd come again.
