Women’s floor. And how clean it was

The rooms was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The location is convenient with a mall right next to it and main road to downtown. Supermarkets and a few restaurants near by too.

Only one complain for this fantastic hotel: A receptionist called 'Taylor' (this is how she said she was called. No badge on her). She must improve her communication skills and treat when speaking to guests. She was rude and she made clear she did not want to repeat answers if you'd ask her twice. She made me feel very uncomfortable when check in which is the worst thing to see when you first arrive at a hotel. O didn't feel welcome. She'd say things like ' I have already told you that' with a very bad tone. On the other hand, the rest of the receptionist or staff I talked to were very kind and helpful. It is a pity one person can spoil the team work with such an attitude. However I think she was young and inexperienced and with a little effort she will surely get better at it if she takes this comment as an opportunity and not as a criticism.

We are a family of 4 (with two adult sons) who needed to stay overnight in Grande Prairie on our leisure trip from Edmonton to northern BC. We had a mishap on the road, which caused us to arrive very late (3:30am). We called the hotel staff and they readily accommodated our special needs, confirmed the reservation, and allowed us to stay an extra hour past the check-out time in the morning to catch up on sleep. The two rooms (King suite and 2 Queen beds) were next to each other, very spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a very good sleep and were refreshed and ready to continue our trip in the morning. The hotel was conveniently located close to our route and had ample free parking.

The only thing that annoyed us was the excessive number of e-mails that the hotel sends with and without reason. For the one-night stay, we got about a dozen. When we needed to reconfirm our reservation because of the late arrival, they sent us 6 e-mails about this trivial function. But that's nothing. Everything was great.

I Was Very Pleased With My Stay At The Pomeroy. I Had Never Stayed There Before But Definitely Will Again. I Had A Room With A King Sized Bed And It Was Lovely. I Stayed On The Women's Only Floor And It Was Great. I Am A Single Traveler And Have Never Stayed On A Women's Only Floor Before. I Can Definitely Understand The Feeling Of Safety During My Stay! Will Definitely Recommend!

the first desk lady was great. the pool facilities nice restaurant staff staff was super friendly.

my room was not properly cleaned and missing soap, didn’t get cutlery with my kids food order. more an inconvenience then anything there was what looked like a brackets from a broken shelf, hanging off the wall in the bathroom as well. from the point of check in till 10 PM I had been at that desk four times due to issues. The showerheads are absolutely horrible gaps under the door are quite large, compared to any other hotel that I have stayed at. Meaning you hear everything outside that door. so the dog across the hall and kids next door sounded like they was in my room.

Great service, fantastic restaurant. Comfortable room. This was our second time at this hotel and will definitely keep coming back.

the Pool and hot tub we’re a little dirty on the bottom, the sauna floor was dirty-bring shower shoes. the bed was springy. the tv doesn’t have a ton of channels-bring your iPad!

Basically everything....room rate, location, bed, pillows, pool, and complimentary breakfast! I booked 3 rooms and my request to have my family together was fullfilled!
