The hotel is situated in a very quiet area within a historic building, offering pedestrian access to all the major attractions as well as numerous restaurants and cafes. The bed was generally comfortable, and the deposit for the stay was immediately released upon checkout.

After an 11-hour drive from Chicago to the hotel, we were not provided with any drinking water. There was none in the room, and when we requested it at the reception, we were advised to take a walk to a nearby 7-Eleven. Additionally, the staff seemed unaware of nearby parking options. They suggested a garage that charged $24 per night, located a 30-minute walk from the hotel. However, the next day, we found free street parking near Meridian Hill Park, just a 10-minute walk away, using the SpotAngels app. The room itself was quite old, including both the furniture and the appliances, but this might be attributed to the historic nature of the building.

Coffee, tea, hot water, microwave were all available at the reception. Good and safe location, very near at the bus stop. Staff were all good. The room and double bed were clean and good enough to rest.

There were few black ants on the wash basin. Unpleasant smell in the bathroom but not so bad at all.

The location was amazing. It's in such a cute area and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Staff were nice and room was clean. I am a solo female traveler and was nervous about getting a hotel that was affordable but safe. Windsor Inn met both of those! I would definitely go back next time I am in the area.

Very nice location, beautiful neighbourhood. The staff were very friendly and there was always someone available. The room was comfortable, the bed was ok. The cleaning service was great, they left the room super tidy every time.

Having to go up and down the stairs every time was not great, it makes the place not accessible even though they have rooms on the ground floor.

Location was in a great area. Hotel was in a beautiful building, gorgeous courtyard out front. Close to bus lines and walking distance to bars, cafes, etc.

My room was windowless. I wasn't expecting an amazing view, but I did hope that for the price I paid, I would have a window with some natural light.

Worn out furniture. Small room. No lift. Uncomfortable bed. Thin walls, thus noisy. No breakfast. Dark room, view to the skylight box. Ceiling with moisture stains.

It was quiet, polite staff, and good location.

The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. Everything is very old. The blinds were broken. It feels like it hasn't been renovated since the 1950s.

It’s great value for money

It’s a beautiful old-style house. Sometimes you hear people in upper floors as they walk. So not absolutely ideal for light sleepers but not a great deal either. I would go again there !

Central location, lots of nearby transport options, friendly staff. The place did its job for a couple days, but honestly the rooms need some renovation. The place feels old although the staff does a good job with cleaning. One of the cheper options in the area, but not amazing.

It would be advisable for a renovation, refurbishing bathroom fixtures.
