The accommodating staff. The helpful attendant in the Breakfast table. Well appointed room and cleanliness.

My wife and I were very pleased with the stay. No unsatisfactory comment.

The view

Did not like the noise. Need to have more coffee and updated creamer.

We asked the lady at the reception to cancel our stay due to remodeling. We were simply not comfortable. We were informed that our reservation was canceled.

I always choose Sonesta if there is one located in my destination. Large studio room, kitchenette, small dinette, comfortable bed, great value.

The ES Sonesta in SFO is beside the BART railroad tracks. The passing trains made it difficult to distress especially after a 13-hr international flight.

the swimming pool and hot tub was nice. good breakfast and the morning breakfast staff was really nice.

they were doing construction so the halls were very dirty, alot of dry wall on the carpets. The workers were also smoking really close to the entrance you could smell the smoke in the hallways. The front desk workers weren’t that friendly either.

I love the location of this Sonesta. I love the staff there that used to be Marriott staff. Meda Mijos, older Filipino gentleman that cleans the general hotel grounds and another younger Asian gentleman that does the pool and maintenance. But I wasn't notified Sonesta was under major renovation. Banging by 8am, told construction wouldn't start till 10am. The free breakfast is ridiculous. The lady there is rude, asks you how many pancakes, butter, scoops of sugar for oatmeal... Omg

My stay was awful. Ugh. Purchase a room with a bay view, then was told no bay view available. How is that when I booked it?;!

Beautiful location and loved view of bay ! Room was big and spacious. All dishes were included. Staff was friendly and pet friendly

Bathroom had a very loud ventilation that wasn’t enjoyable. Black toxic Mold on ceiling of bathroom and around rim of sink in bathtub ! There was construction that we weren’t warned about constant banging . Old furniture and carpet . Carpet smelled was outdated . Laundry was 3$ per wash which is too expensive!!

Bay view was gorgeous and such a nice location

The was construction on the floor/room RIGHT above us. No one told us when booking or checking in. Stopped at 6/6:30pm and started the following day at 8 am. When I asked about it the front desk person Meda, was rude dismissive and not I retested in helping. Abruptly offered to transfer me to a different room but we were checking out the following day so there was no use in moving all our stuff. They already had a room ready to transfer us to. So instead of putting us there in the first place the put us in a room knowing we would be RIGHT under construction. So I paid $600 and drove 8 hours to listen to construction. The manager just took off parking and said there’s nothing he could do for the first nights rate and did a $45 discount on the final night. Lack luster customer service from a normally fabulous hotel

Me and my family wasn't happy with the breakfast it wasn't all that.

They could have have a way better hot breakfast like waffles and eggs but instead they served us those dry nasty gas station breakfast sandwiches yucky.

lack of maintenance, door was hard to open and there was no service to the room.
