The rooms were not as nice as I anticipated though the lobby, breakfast area and bar were superb.

The staff, so amazing

The rooms were dated, but we didn't spend much time in them

From the moment we walked in the staff was amazing. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who showed us around the main floor got all of our information and also helped us carry our bags up to the room. We were told about their complementary breakfast as well as drink at the bar and told that we had a butler service and chauffeur as needed. We checked in on New Year’s Eve and were still able to get a complementary ride to and from dinner, which they called around and found us somewhere that had an opening and made a reservation, and then they took us to our late night show. Breakfast the following morning was amazing and more than we have ever come across at any chain hotel. This day was even more special even with changes in their staffing/ownership they were more than accommodating and made our stay so wonderful. The small extra things that they did daily to make us feel welcome were amazing and any time we come back to Buffalo we will only be staying here

There is not a single thing about the mansion that we did not like

Breakfast was really good. Enjoyed the attention to detail and great food.

The room was not clean. Heavy dust on the walls and moldy walls in bathroom. There was hair in the bed.

Beautiful property in a great location. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The bathroom in our room could use some updating but it didn’t detract from our stay at all.

Breakfast was divine!

Room was very smelly and kinda dirty. Yes, it’s a grand mansion with 15 ft ceilings, however, it’s old and tired. The furnishings, carpeting, drapes, etc all need updating. I would not stay here again.
