Location

The room hadn’t fully been cleaned. There was used coffe pods left in the coffee maker. The room smelled like bleach so strongly it gave me a headache. There was a woman screaming outside in the parking lot of hours in the middle of the night until the early morning. Nothing matched what the description stated. I would never return and I am disappointed in Howard Johnson for putting their name on this motel.

We booked this for a last minute trip to a MUN conference. If served the purpose well, as we were only there to sleep. Parking is a bit stressful as the lot is very small!

The place has a good location in Berkeley at reasonable price. It is clean, it has parking, The bed was comfortable.

I do not have any significant objections that I would mention.

The location was close to dining, grocery shopping, and site seeing. Public transportation was more than adequate. The front desk was helpful and even provided me with a sewing kit to repair a garment.

I cannot think of anything unfavorable. It rained after we left. So, we felt pretty lucky, actually.
