Well-appointed room with all the amenities including fridge and microwave. Comfortable bed and pillows. Well kept hotel and pleasant, courteous staff members. Excellent breakfast: scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, as well as options for cereal and bagel/toast.
Would prefer better lighting, especially in the bathroom. Also, an option for decaf, as well as caffeinated coffee with breakfast. However, neither of these issues were a big deal for us.

There was a bus in front of the hotel that took us to New York.
We found a cockroach in the room when we got in at 23:30. It was very inconvenient since I suffer from insect anxiety. They moved us to another room but they didn't clean it the third day claiming that we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign and we didn't.

The staff at check in was pleasant.
The hotel smells old, needs to be updated. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned and for new wash cloths and towels. The fitness room was very stuffy and hot.

It smelled like cigarettes in our room and we had a non smoking room

The daytime manager was exceptional. He was attentive, empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. We would return to this location just because of him. I felt comfortable and knew that all my needs were being attended to because he was on top of everything.
