One of the rooms was upgraded to a suite which was very well appointed. The room service breakfast was excellent.

The service, staff and bathroom cleanliness. Marci, our server for room service and at the breakfast area was incredible! She made our whole stay honestly! She remembered it was my moms birthday when I mentioned it briefly when she asked why we came …. And brought her a cake, we all cried … it felt so heartwarming and special from her heart!

Outdated room! The bedroom felt like a holiday inn vibe! No wall decor and the No view! Just a roof! That was shocking to me because when I searched up top hotels, this hotel came up and I had been to other waldorf Astorias that took my breath away! I was kinda getting away from that “outdated” hotel feel while visiting because it was Disney world… I called the staff to ask them for another room but they said they were fully booked.. I almost wanted to change hotels and go to a four seasons or a ritz but was way too tired traveling all day

Fireworks, connected rooms, valet?

Not the Waldorf of which I am accustomed. First day we arrived, our reservation (3 rooms) was screwed up. We used booking.com to reserve our stay. I took my time making sure that all the upgrades we wanted were accounted for on the website. When we arrived, the Waldorf advised that they did not have the rooms we requested even though they acknowledged early on that they received the request. They said there were no notes in their computer, but we received two confirmations. It too two hours to fix the mess bc the hotel is under renovation construction. We came back two hours later, requested upper floor rooms but bc of the construction, they would not honor the request; we were placed on the 7th floor. We eventually got moved to our rooms. When we got settled, I set up to do some work and noticed that the dining chairs were all nasty. They had stains from previous occupants, which was so gross and not the calibre we would have ever expected from WAO. I called about it, someone was sent by the next day and said they would clean them or remove them and replace them w other chairs. We wanted to invite friends up but I never would have w chairs in the conditions in which they were. We just used hand towels to cover them when we needed to sit. There was also a tear in the rug that I could have easily trip on had I had on heels. We went to shower and found there were no face towels so we had to call for those. They responded w/in 20 minutes, which we appreciated. We just wished they had been there prior to our arrival because it is a hassle to have to wait on towels when one wants to shower. We got cleaned up and left for dinner. When we returned, we went to our rooms only to hear major construction noise. It. Was. HORRIBLE! I visited the front desk and was advised they would be done within the hour; remember though, I was placed on floor 7 to AVOID the noise. As we left to enjoy our time

clean and modern hotel, the pool is nice, great menu and drinks. lovely manager and the staff were all really kind and helpful. Thus was our second time staying here as we loved it so much the first time, although renovations did mean it wasn’t as an enjoyable experience this time. Breakfast is good and a great selection.

The noise from renovations started early, lasted all day. The constant banging when by the pool was annoying. we used the Hilton pool the second time.

Nice lobby area, friendly staff, good view to Disney and the fireworks.

no shuttles to universal island or island of adventure. limited availability at the restaurant at night. last waitress at our last breakfast was not as friendly as the rest of the staff and even wanted to charge us for our breakfast even though our rate included breakfast.

We expected a much more modern property and where really disappointed by the interior design - it felt very outdated and inappropriate for a luxury hotel. Also, very little sustainability effort was visible.
