Within comfortable walking distance of aquarium, beach, shops & restaurants. Free shuttle stop on corner of property. Free parking with some spots covered. Very clean inside & out. Some rooms have small balcony . One block from beach.

we walked into the room. It smell like mold. The fireplace was ridiculous. The screen to the small balcony did not open. It was broken and my husband had to fix it. The chair in the room was torn shouldn’t have been in the room. The bed was tilting towards the head of the bed. It felt like we were sleeping on a boxspring terrible mattress, our view was of another building. A man was looking at our room. I do not recommend this property probably a one star.

Room with fireplace and water view was cozy. Nice and quiet, could hear no outside noise at all. perfect location, too. Easy to get to Cannery Row, aquarium, Pacific Grove, and Carmel. Great stay! (Filtered water station is a nice touch, btw)

Can’t think of anything. Maybe offer continental breakfast? Oh, coffee maker didn’t work right, even after swapping it out. just kind of cheapo.

Cannery Row Inn was advertised as only being a 2-star hotel, so my expectations were low - I chose it for its location (near my friend's home). While the property is not posh, the room was large, very clean, and well appointed. The room had a partial ocean view, which was very visible when sitting on the balcony. The location was great - 20 minute walk to Cannery Row, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

The fireplace that "lights up" is laughable. The vending machines were out of order, so there truly were no amenities.

Power was out when we arrived, decided to stay anyway. Luckily, the power came on a few hours later. The only upset was, I booked my room at the same time as family members, and I was charged $50 more than them. Unsure as why, I let the staff know, I’m still waiting for a response.

The location near the water, Cannery Row (which is really a ‘tourist trap’, but it is what it is), and the bike/pedestrian path is great. The room was spacious and clean.

It’s definitely a step down from other hotels in the area, but if you’re looking for a good price and down mind the motel feel (not a hip, modern motel feel) it’s fine.

We were given a room for handicap or person in a wheel chair. The bed was very low and the mattress was overly broken down towards in the middle. My wife and I struggle to sleep for three nights.
