The beds were comfortable and I liked the snack selection they had.
I just thought the young kid who was working the front desk had kind of a bad attitude. He wasn’t very friendly and seemed annoyed that he had to come out from the back just to ring up my snacks.

They first sent us to a room that hadn't been cleaned. Then the room we got didn't have working air conditioning, there was a wired smell to the room, and you could feel every spring in the mattresses.

Room showed its age, rust around bathroom door, floor and shower were worn

Our room was really dirty and had an awful smell. It was very damp and musty smelling. When the air conditioner kicked on it made it worse. The AC wouldn’t shut off so we were either freezing or shut it off completely and be super hot.

How cold it got in the rooms
The general manager was very very very rude to me and my mother. And our toilet did not work and the lady told us they were brand new that’s why it did not have water in it to flush and then gave my mother a plunger and told her to plunge the toilet herself if it got backed up again. I was very in impressed with this hotel and very disappointed with the way we were talked to by the general manager and I believe her first name to be Suzy.

The heater in the room didn’t work so I went and told the front desk and they told me to unplug it and plug it back in and still didn’t work so I said something to them again and they said there was nothing they could do so I froze all night

Hotel does not provide a first responder discount. The first room we were assigned to had (adult) bodily function stains on the couch and crumbs all over and in the drawers. The pool was closed "due to COVID". We were only refunded $40 from a $200+ stay. "Corporate" only allowed them to refund $40 off reservation.

The Kids enjoyed making waffles for breakfast.
That the front desk wasn’t more informed of what’s going on. We were told the pool was opened and there was a note on the pool door saying it was closed so my son asked the front desk again and he was told it was opened. My kids went in and got in the pool and as soon as I went in and saw the pool it was not clean , I made them get out. I was afraid they were going to get sick from it.
