The staff when we first arrived were very friendly.

Our gas was stolen while our car was parked in the parking lot. Even though it was park at your own risk (there were signs) we wanted to make Fairfield aware and the front desk was extremely rude and uncaring. The room appeared clean but there were panties in a drawer and during our 3 day stay no one came to pick up trash or bring more towels. We called for more and were able to pick them up and the trash we were told to sit outside our door sat there all evening and part of the next day. (We had a young child that has diapers, luckily it didn't stink). The pool was okay but very deep so it was hard to enjoy especially with younger children.

Nice hotel on the way to Carlsbad Caverns. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms was well equipped.

Hot tub broken. Gym equipment shabby and dirty. Terrible breakfast. Room didn’t get cleaned. Thin walls loud noises.

Great location, room and staff. Good breakfast. Very attentive employees that were ready to help anytime they were needed. We'd definitely stay here again.

Not really a dislike but I was surprised that the housekeeping staff didn't speak English. Very nice girl and between me pointing and her translator app on her phone, we were able to communicate. We don't usually require any care, other than maybe some towels or coffee if it's a multiple day stay. We just needed some TP and coffee, if I remember right. She was very pleasant and we were able to work through it which is the main thing. Definitely not anything to keep us from coming back.
