Beautiful conference center, sparkling clean, well-decorated and appointed, excellent bath, bed, and breakfast. I prefer the decor and location of Rizzo’s Hyatt rival, the Carolina Inn, right next to the UNC campus, but it’s not worth a $100 premium, especially also charging for breakfast and parking. Rizzo also has a great outdoor pool for CH’s hellish summer weather.

The quality of the shampoo and conditioner in the showers isn’t the best, but glad it’s there!

Indifferent attitude from front desk ex: Where do we park? Answer “depends on how far you want to walk. How to we get to UNC campus? Just go to the student union. Both responses were given with no further information.

It was confusing how the rooms were spread out, finding the right elevators & getting to breakfast.

The staff was so friendly. It was a beautiful property. We had a great breakfast, and they even had snacks in the pantry plus a washer/dryer.
Only wish we could’ve stayed more than one night!

In a word: gorgeous. The property was leafy, lush and quiet. The views from the balcony were fabulous. The room was large and beautifully appointed. The staff members were friendly and accommodating.
It wasn’t ‘in town’ - if that is what you are seeking, I’d look a little further, but it was worth the few minutes it took us to get to the actual UNC campus.

We stayed in the main building which is very nice and clean. The property is in a beautiful location with nice trails around. We enjoyed walking around the nice neighborhood. The buffet breakfast was very good. Parking on site was convenient and the pool and gym were nice.
There was ice cream and drinks (juice/sodas/coffee) on each floor, but not much else in terms of food other than breakfast. Lots of nearby restaurants.

Beautiful property in Chapel Hill. Stayed here while I attended a training at UNC. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The hotel bar and restaurant were also very good and had a variety of choices. The free breakfast was also very good.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable.
The bathrooms could have a bit better lighting. There are 3 lights but they are all fairly dim.

wish it were walkable to campus. also hotel layout is confusing- it feels like a giant maze

We didn't eat breakfast this morning but will try to make it for our next visit!
A restaurant on site would make the Rizzo perfect. The sports bar serves salads and sandwiches but you have to leave to eat a hot meal. The bartender ladies were very friendly and helpful when ordering food to take back to room. The Greek salad was a winner!

It is beautiful. The building architecture is consistent with those around it. We arrived quite late and the front desk was so welcoming. The amenities are wonderful although we were not there long enough this time to take advantage of it all. Yet we did get to the fitness center and this is by far the nicest and most functional fitness center at a hotel we have been to. We will definitely be back.
the breakfast buffet was mediocre. the powdered scrambled eggs should be replaced with real eggs.

It would be nice to have a few more hooks, and not just one, to hang towels on in the bathroom!
