Comfortable bed.

All the rest was horrible! The lady makes us wait two hours because I tell her our breakfast is included in my reservation and show her the full reservation. She persists and refuses then wants to charge us. She then tells us to call booking and solve ourselves, I told her we should not have to call them, they re your partners and you can use my email reservation as proof. She persists and didn’t seem to care.. We talk to booking customer service, they call them, because of the bad network service the phone cuts and she can’t hear anything. Now this makes it worse, because she tells the lady she can’t hear anything and won’t do anything until she calls her back. She was literally Making us feel like we should beg her for a freaking service we paid for and if there is an issue, that s just between Aloft and Booking. Why do we have to suffer the consequences? Next thing, we got to call back the lady from customer service and had them talk to the lady from our personal phone. And then she gave us this breakfast ticket. Wanna know the worst part? The breakfast was horrible ! They tell you get a voucher of $10 that you can use to buy anything in our kitchen. So for two people we got $20, the menu was small sandwiches like egg biscuit sandwich or two small waffles, price? $10 each lol so we a sandwich each for $10 with no drink or anything else (know that the same sandwich costs like $3 at McDonald’s, same quality too lol). You can see it on the picture attaches to my comment and it’s really far from what I’m used to see at any hotel around the whole World, shameful! And to end this in the best manner we sit down to eat, power goes out in the whole building, can’t go anywhere some people tried to take emergency exit, it was locked. So I was wondering what if there was a fire. Were we just going to be stuck in ? Anyway Just a disappointing experience I don’t recommend at all !

Hotel very close to UNC Hospitals, also several restaurants within walking distance.

location was convenient, easy walking to some restaurants. very thoughtfully laid out spacious rooms with high end extras.

thought there was bar and restaurant in house, but it wasn’t staffed.

Location was good but not great, easy to come and go from.

I found a pair of dirty socks on the chaise lounge that didn’t belong to me or my boyfriend… gross. Booking didn’t disclose the pet fee associated with the hotel and maintained my room would be $135/night… I paid about $225 instead.

That bathroom had no fan.

The Hotel Was Amazing Unfortunately There Was No Wifi. We Were Told Beforehand which prepared us for the Situation. But Then There Was Also No Breakfast For Our Stay. Which Gave My Staff A Wonderful Breakfast Right Down The Street!

The room was great--well appointed and comfortable. LOVED the funky wallpaper in the bathroom. Good free parking and location was convenient. There was also a pleasant venue behind the hotel for a morning walk.

We've been spoiled at other similar chains that offer free breakfast. However, we were okay with and finding a fun breakfast place off site .

The room was quite large, and the natural light in the corner room was nice. The walk-in shower was good except for the lack of a way to control water on the floor even with a shower curtain.

The air conditioning was extremely noisy. I would compare it to a jet on the runway, in the air, and landing. This sequence repeated every 25 seconds so there was no respite from the annoyance. The room was not clean. The floor had spills on it; the carpet was "sticky"; there were dust bunnies on the floor. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until late in the evening when it was too late to have the problem addressed. Street noise was considerable. I should have anticipated this when I chose the location. Wi-fi was out for the durationof my stay.

Staff was cheerful and efficient. Bartended at the WXYZ was fun and quirky, in the best possible way. Just what you wanted to come back to after a day exploring.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was an enjoyable stay. My kids really enjoyed the pool table and the indoor pool.

Shower leaked to the floor Light bulb over the bed was burnt out and not working No convenient hooks to hang a towel in order not to completely step out of the shower The room was hot, AC was slow and extremely loud
