the lobby, hallways, and room smelled of cigarette smoke. Everything felt dirty.

The property was clean and efficient

The bed had roaches in it. The shower was rusted and was basically falling apart. The toilet wasn’t clean from previous visitors

when I arrived at the property I was issued room 118 and when I entered the room I am merely saying that the floors had not been cleaned properly I didn’t arrive at the property until about 12 midnight so I didn’t complain I just stayed in the room to be respectful of the older lady that was working that night the next day one of the housekeepers came to see if I needed the services to click get my room clean and I told her I would clean my room myself because I was staying another day and she proceeded to tell me to not go complain and proceeded to argue with me it was very unprofessional and from that moment on I feel uncomfortable in the environment of the hotel

Strange odor, hair from previous guest on shower walls, carpet had a sticky feel. There were what appeared to be used towels hanging on the bathroom door. I brought up the issues with management and they blamed it on not having a reliable staff.

Breakfast is not that great , less option only cereals and waffle. Regarding the facility , felt the weird smell ( guess it was weed) allover the hallway until i get into the room. but inside room it is ok but still felt that smell when i swtich on the A.C.

The cost and location to the Vidant Medical Center.

This place is a dump. Walking into the front office, it was updated and clean. However I had a room on the second floor, no elevator. The carpeting up the steps and hallway was very worn and in desperate need of replacing, it was lumpy to walk on. The bannisters were well worn, little to no finish left. I didn't touch them, didn't look clean.the lingering smell of smoke was strong despite the strong perfumey smell of the air freshener. The hallway was dark and dingy. My room had a few upgrades, the lighting, the A/C unit was new, the TV was new and the side chair was new. The carpet looked old and worn. The dresser, was banged up, didn't use it anyway. The doors!!! So scarred up, the bottom of the doors looked as though there was water damage. The door leading in/out had a special lock, a plastic coated cable in a loop screwed onto the doorframe to attach to the lock! Painting in the bathroom was just awful. Very sloppy, paint on the toilet roll holder, on the inside of the door frame, the bathroom vanity was all scratched up, the toilet seat had 2 areas that were once worn down and putty and paint was used to cover it. How much does a toilet seat cost? Not much at all. I have pictures and plan to send them to Wyndham. I didn't have any choice to cancel without getting charged for an overnight stay. I didn't expect poor quality from Wyndham. My husband was a patient at the Vidant Medical Center.
