I didn’t stay scary place and booking.com would not refund my money.

Shady place staff stood at desk just staring. Did not stay and booking. Com did not refund my money.

Was clean although outdated

Had to walk outside to get to pool, ice machine, breakfast etc. had to park a ways across the street and carry everything across. Staff was friendly but not helpful. Felt unsafe.

Very pleasant stay.

Nothing to complain about.

Called to change reservation from two nights to one night (pre-paid, non-refundable) and hotel said they would make exception and not charge me for second night. They never refunded. Booking.com was no help.

The price was reasonable and affordable.

Could have more options for breakfast.

Location, price

Slightly dated, could have had a larger tv.

The place and room were clean and the staff were friendly. I'd likely stay there again.

Hotel costs are high in the Houghton/Hancock area. This was the lowest cost at the time. $155/night. Needs to be more lower cost hotel rooms in that area. But it was snowmobile season, so high hotel costs are basically expected.
