All was well except for the minor bug issue.

Very nice staff. Nice area. The breakfast area was nice & very clean.

Bugs of some sort (possibly bed bugs) were throughout. I first saw one on the floor in the bathroom which I did not pay much attention. However, I opened the microwave to find about 2 in there as well as several in the sink. I do think that this should be looked into for a more comfortable stay.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever!

At my check in time I was told I was not entitled to have a room available at that time. So I was checked in late and told I would have to pay if I wanted to checkout an hour later. I was also told that because they were short on cleaning staff I would need to search for the lady with a cart to get access to a broom and some clean towels when I called the front desk. So I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. If your check time is at 3:00pm it could be hours before your room is available. And according to the manager there is no need to file a complaint. The company will not do anything about it. I have stayed at other Residence Inn in the past. This one by far was the worst. Stay far far away.

Weekend Trip to Charleston

Great location.

This is the 2nd time that we have encountered issues with our reservations at The Residence Inn in North Charleston. They always say that they are overbooked & we have to wait for a room. ONCE AGAIN, WE DID NOT GET THE ROOM THAT WE BOOKED & HAD A CONFIRMATION FOR.
