The staff were very friendly upon arrival and leaving.

We didn’t stay at the motel, upon arrival to the room we were overwhelmed with the smell of weed and cigarettes and the room was just not clean. There were half eaten French fries on the floor, dirt on the walls, and the counter tops were sticky. We could not use the heater in our room because when we plugged it in and turned it on it let out a awful mildew smell, I’m allergic to mold so immediately could not breathe. We made the decision to leave after 30 mins of being there, and kindly asked for a refund because for health reasons I could not stay there. We were denied, and that’s fine we will just not be returning.

Even though the property is not in the best possible shape, I gave it 10 out 10. The location is awesome and the buildings are somewhat charming as well as the scenery around. Plus, there is a nice diner right across the street. Perfect setting for an overnight stay.

Everything was awful , the bed was absolutely horrible, the door was hard to close and lock and the clerk was busy watching tv with his bare feet on the lobby furniture and reluctant to get up and wait on me to check in because he didn’t want his show interupted

The location is good for where we needed to be, but if it wasn't close, I wouldn't stay here. The next time I go to an auction in PA, I will definitely find another motel to stay in.

I hate to leave bad reviews because the owners are really trying (I think) - but this place is a mess! The whole place is in disrepair, including the lawn which is nothing but weeds. It's filthy, including the door into the lobby. We were given a room that smelled of cigarette smoke, although the whole place is supposed to be non-smoking. Because the management doesn't enforce any smoking rules, people pull chairs outside to smoke, which fills the entire area with smoke, including the rooms. They have an ice machine in the lobby, but no ice buckets in the room, so I had to go to Dollar General to get a cheap container for ice. The TV remote didn't work, so I called the front desk. The clerk came to the room and showed me how to turn the TV on from the button on the TV and the volume control. If you know the remote doesn't work, then fix it! The shower is very small and the ceiling is moldy and falling down from having water sitting on it. The walls are filthy and I wore socks so I wouldn't be going barefoot on the carpet - my socks were black from the dirt in the carpet! I would't recommend this motel - or if you do go, plan on wiping everything down with Clorox wipes before touching anything.
