The front office staff were very nice and helpful. One of the women literally ran down the hall to deliver a key to move us to a different room because we had reserved a non-smoking room due to my asthma but were given a smoker's room initially. The bed was surprisingly comfortable with a soft mattress and 4 pillows, and I got a pretty good night's sleep. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool all night. Their small pool was operational and there were other guests using it and having fun. The EconoLodge was quiet in the evening in spite of the number of cars in the parking lot. The hotel serves a light breakfast, but we opted to eat elsewhere due to the time of our check out at 11:00am.
The property is located in an older section of town and there are no elevators to the second floor. The room could use some updating and was pretty basic with a bed, chair, small microwave/fridge that we didn't try, a desk/chair, and a tv which didn't work. The tv remote was missing its back cover. There were no bedside lamps and very limited outlets for charging cell phones. The white towels appeared dingy, and the tub handle was broken which made adjusting the temperature of the water fairly tricky. The bottom of the shower is extremely slippery, tub grippers should be installed for safety and there were no grab bars in the shower. Unlike most hotels, there was no hair dryer and fortunately I had brought my own. There was also no closet, just a rack to hang your clothes on.

There honestly wasn't mych to like. We didn't realize it was basically a crack motel. We LITERALLY watched a drug deal between a man and the housekeeping lady as we were leaving.
We were so tired when we checked in, we didn't notice the blood on the sheets. The ac didn't work very well, it smelled super musty, it was bad.
The only upside was they refunded us for our one night stay. It was BAD.

The location was easy to commute to and from.
Proper room lighting and room size.
The rooms weren't very comfortable or clean, when I walked up to the bed, my foot hit the lower part of the metal bed frame, making a loud noise. Ice machine not working properly, out dated vending machines, no breakfast offered.
Also very noisy environment, I was concerned for my safety due to different reasons... people fighting and arguing outside my motel room , loud music in parking lot, and loitering.
Once I mentioned my concerns to the motel front desk manager, I received an unpleasant response and distasteful attitude. But he was willing to switch the room out, which wasn't much better than the last room, but it did have a clean microwave and coffee pot.
