Clean and convenient.
The front desk was understaffed. She gave me a key that didn’t work and did not let me know that convenient parking was available near the room. When I finally got the right key, the room was Smokey and unacceptable. We were given a different room that worked.
In a nutshell, the check-in should have lasted 10 minutes. It took 45.

After staying at 5 other hotel properties on our round trip to California all around the same price point this hotel was fabulous!Our next road trips we will book at the Red Lion Inns .The staff was amazing the room was very clean and comfortable we had our little dog with us and this hotel is extremely pet friendly.The dinner we had in the restaurant on the property was excellent as was our server.The pool area was very clean and we enjoyed a relaxing swim after a long day on the road.This Red Lion was excellent Thankyou to all the staff!!!

Clean and comfortable bed and bedding and good breakfast
There was one specific lady at the front desk that was super rude and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome. There was even instances where I felt like she was racially profiling me and saying things that she didn’t say to others. It was just to me, my girlfriend said she was nice but the lady didn’t know that she was my girlfriend. It was to the point where I didn’t even feel comfortable to get coffee from the front desk area. I was afraid she was going to yell at me and say things I wasn’t doing during my stay and charge me fees for nothing I did. She charged me twice and blamed me for her mistake she made and I had to wait a week before I got my money back. There is so many other things that happened that I could mention.

The facility was amazing. We had a dog and he was treated just like any family member. No restrictions. There was a table in the room we used for playing games. It was very nice.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and nice. And you can get coffee and tea from the lobby.
Location was also so close to everything.

Breakfast was good, but since I stayed for two weeks, a little variety would have been welcome.
During most of the days the water in shower stayed warm enough for about 15 seconds. Then you needed to press the switch down, so that the water went directly to the bath. After pulling the switch up again, it was warm again for another 15 seconds. It was not only in my room, as some of our group described the same thing. One day I showered after 11 pm and then it was OK. Also, the air conditioner/heater was quite noisy, but you could not switch it off really, because the heating was needed in the beginning of March. And the drinks froze in the fridge, no matter how I tried to regulate it. Other than that, everything was OK.

Location and price
Very dated room. Stained couch. The shower had so much water pressure it over sprayed the whole bathroom. Literally water everywhere. Fire extinguisher as hanging by a wire from the ceiling
We have stayed here before and it has been ok for what we need. This particular room was a lil bit worse than usual 😕

Booking.com actually was the main problem. They promised upgrade. They didn't do what they promised and when I called they didn't do anything about it.

A suite for 6-8 people (as advertised) only had 3 beds and no pullout couch. Room only had one bathroom for 7 people to share. the bathroom only had 4 towels and 4 washcloths for a suite.

location is great and close to everything I need to be close to.
the sofa bed is not to comfy. hard and needs to be updated. bigger TV and a channel guide or how to use the tv. I upgraded to Executive suite & was told due to upgrade breakfast was not included , which was confusing because I UPGRADED, to get better room & better amenities, but instead got not so much of an upgrade I guess.

Nothing about our stay was what we expected.
The room was so old outdated, not soundproof at all, was up all night due to traffic and a huge gap under the door and on the side you could literally see into the hallway. Things were broke, an entire chair was missing out of the room the bed had broken springs all over in it. The stay was awful. The place was so run down. Would never stay there again.

The front desk lady was great. Ice machine worked great.
My room smelt like a dirty hat. It stunk. I used a whole can of lysol to try and kill the smell. The mattress was broke down and so uncomfortable 😫. For this being a disabled room, I was very disappointed, the chairs were both old with stains . The carpet was stained as well. The fridge was not cold, had to get ice to keep Mt insulin cold over night. The heater turned off and on every fifteen minutes, it was very loud as well.
