The breakfast was ok. But thx location was further than I thought

When I booked the room it says it had a sofa sleeper. There was no sofa sleeper. No elevator and I was on the second floor with my elderly mother.

Decent location central to the area for our purposes. Quick drive into New Braunfels or Gruene

Pool and Hot tub were not clean. Room was not thoroughly cleaned.

It was a nicely kept hotel.

No water in the hot tub. On Saturday we noticed other guess arrived at the hotel after we came back from our function that night. Someone parked in the 2nd parking spot which was right in front of the room we were staying in. I tried to park in the 1st parking spot but couldn’t because of the tall bush that was next to that spot. So I had to squeeze into the 3rd spot because the person that parked in the 2nd spot was parked closer to that parking spot. The bush really needs to be trimmed for anyone to park in the 1st parking spot. These are the only 2 things we found wrong with our stay.

About the only thing we liked was the A/C.

Not clean, something spilled on the a/c unit, splash of something of the back of the main door. Not vacuumed, crickets & visible dirt. The bedding was very thin. Noise from the highway was loud even with a noise app going. When booking, not all room entrances are located inside a hallway, some are on the outside of the building via exterior door. Rates were super high because of college game that weekend.

Clean, great staff, easy access

Pillows are too squishy. Would be nice to have some firm ones offered as well.

Check in was easy and bed was comfortable. Room was clean and wasn't hot walking in. Which is great with heat index outside of 110°. It was nice to walk into a cold area.

The shower nozzle wouldn't spray out evenly. It sprayed slowly out as well. The coffee maker in the room was dirty looking inside the filter area so we didn't use it. It looked like th coffee was stuck on the container.

Clean and comfortable. That was all we needed. Nice person at the desk.

It was ok. There was some choice and the area where the food was served was clean. The hot plate was broken so all the hot food tasted old and dry.

Our room was dark, one bulb was missing and the phone did not work. There were flies in the room. My friend had a dead roach and a live spider in their room that had to be killed. The carpet was stained in places and there was old dust etc near the edges where it looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The rooms all had a weird smell, like a strong insecticide had been sprayed, unless that was the air freshener. The door, that led into the facility from the back that should have needed the room key to open it, stayed open all night as the lock did not work. That was a safety issue and should have been addressed. The lady lied and said it closes automatically at night but it did not. The AC in the lobby was broken.

Bad staff and not a safe place to stay

The room was humid, there was a bug in the sink, and the room smelled musty and moldy.

The PTAC unit in the room worked well. The location is nice and very central, though there are many other hotels nearby… I would recommend staying in any of the others.

The A/C in the halls didn’t work, nor did the 2nd floor ice machine. There was a rag wrapped around the shower head to keep water from leaking. Internet only works near the lobby (not in the room). The security doors did not work and there were ants crawling all over the outside of the building (thankfully not in our room). The average daily price was over $200 and they charged me all upfront.
