Nice stop for visit to the White Sands Park. Staff was very friendly, and the facilities were very clean and neat. While this is an older motel, it is kept up very well, and was a nice nostalgic change from the big national chain hotels.

The location was great. The landscaping was cute. The AC unit worked great.

The shower curtain liner was moldy. The kleenex box cover was dirty/moldy/yucky. There were too many pieces of furniture in the room and it made it crowded.

I liked all! It is a fantastic place at the gate of an amazing sand dunes desert… room was super clean staff friendly and breakfast excellent! Many cars parked on other chain-motel: guys you don’t know what you have lost!

Kitschy vibe.

Lack of decent soap and water pressure. A shower is more than just getting wet. They need decent adjustable shower heads so you can at least rinse your hair. No better than standing in a light rain. Soap was 2 tiny bar soaps, just inadequate.

Charming property that reminded me of motels my family stayed in when I was a child.

Bathroom was very small-but actually expected for this era property. A/C was somewhat difficult to adjust between freezing and too warm.

The staff was so kind and accommodating. Let us borrow sleds for White Sands National Park.

Bathroom is small.

Perfect for families, plenty of room for 5 adults in their 2 bedroom room/suite (2 queen beds in 1 room, 1 in the attached bedroom). It was very clean and the owner and staff were exceptional welcoming. Pillows & mattresses were good and comfy. It is close to White Sands and the motel has sleds that you may borrow for free. The breakfast was standard continental with some of the best bagels I've ever had. I would highly recommend, especially for families. The location is good with plenty of restaurants, gas stations, etc. (very close to the White Sands Park). The pistachio farm (with the world's largest pistachio) is a MUST if you are in the area. Lots of samples, pistachio ice cream is out of this world!

The bathroom was clean, in good working order but took me a bit by surprise when I 1st saw it, with a step down and 3/4 wall. Just different but all was good!

Very Clean! This motel is a classic but the rooms are updated.
