Our room was absolutely magnificent! The bed was so comfortable and the facilities were great. Really quiet too and the views from the high floor over the city were stunning. I would have happily stayed a week or more! It's a much bigger hotel than I was expecting, and the lobby was vast. We found the bar area just inside the main doors lacked a bit of atmosphere and at night we used to take our nightcap up to the room to relax. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus into the centre of the city to see the sights was a help. Breakfast catered for all tastes and it was plentiful.

Eggs Benedict were awful. Two barely luke warm eggs sitting on processed white meat of some kind (it bore no resemblance to ham!) served on two triangles of cold sliced pan. At least the hollandaise sauce tasted OK, but again it was barely warm. There was plenty of other choice however, so I left the eggs aside and found something else.

The room was not dark enough. In the night the light from the hallway came underneath the door into the door. Secondly the device for the airconditioner and smoke detector gave too much light.

Room was very spacious and staff were very nice

Location is a bit out of the way and the rooms are quite dated/felt a bit muggy. Pillows were also uncomfortable as they were very flat.

Food was nice but the price for breakfast and dinner buffet is too high. Service was good.

My room was really smell of cigarettes smoking when I check in and the smell just won't go away for my whole period of stay. I ask to change room but was not given a reply by the staff there.

It's my 2nd time staying here. Staff are nice. Service is great. Spacious room. The view is great.

The air quality inside the room is terrible. I can smell the mould when the air-conditioning is on its been the same smell on my last visit back in july 2015 and my recent stay in Oct 2023. Needs to be fixed. For this reason, I'll be staying elsewhere on my next visit as it irritated my asthma and had to turn off the ac while in my room. The mattress is uncomfortable and there's also bed bugs. Unfortunately the hotel is ageing and so is the furniture and carpet. They need to keep an eye on stain and etc if they advertise and charge as a 5* hotel.

The location was perfect for my business in Ho Chi Min but is a bit far from the center.

everything about the hotel was great. an absolute oasis within the busy District 1 HCMC. Extremely great service, clean and friendly hotel. Definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed so far.
