The pool area was soooo nice! All the staff very friendly and the lounge bar Mango attached to hotel was my favorite place with amazing cocktails. Bartender was really an artist. The rooms were comfy, clean and with big bed. The only little minus was mosquitos 🦟 in the first night. But all in all, I really suggest this hotel. It is more for couples and people who want to have a calm time. Not for party people!

The photos of the property make it look much nicer than it actually is. The room smelled like humidity and dust. The bathroom sink leaked and flooded the floor of the bathroom every time it was used. The staff was helpful and tried to fix it, but couldn’t offer a change of room. The shower is simply a tiny shower tray with a shower curtain which drips water onto the floor and which further contributed to the flooding of the bathroom. In general, the room wasn’t very clean. At the time we went, the hotel wasn’t offering breakfast, although we weren’t told about this in advance. The pool bar was never attended. The location of the property is probably the worst part. It’s located in a street full of noisy bars and clubs. Drunk people constantly walking in the middle of the streets. We were two girls and did not feel safe.

The property itself was stunning, really tropical vibes and very well decorated with nice cut grass and beautiful flowers it’s such a well looked after pretty place to stay!! The room we had was basic and had lots of space. We had a nice little balcony outside aswell which I loved to relax outside some nights. The pool was really good as it had a shallow end and deep end which I liked. The food was fabulous, it had a range of options and I would highly recommend getting the smashed burger!! Also the Hotel staff were very friendly and let us stay for later check out time than usual even though they had people coming in and they would help us with anything we needed so they were great!

The shower was quite small not much room for movement and the shower head wasn’t great either because the spray nozzle was very small and could make no adjustments to it. Also with the shower curtain closed while having a shower ,the water would flood the bathroom floor aswell so we had to keep putting down towels beside it so it doesn’t get everywhere. There were knobs under neath the sink in the bathroom and we had to adjust them every time we had a shower because it would always be really cold and had to turn them until we got hot water which was annoying. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom , it’s only in the kitchen/dining room area so I found it uncomfortable to sleep in the bedroom at night as it was really warm so I had to sleep on the couch in the kitchen for most nights. It’s also hard to find the property as me and my partner arrived very late at night and we had to ask people nearby for directions as there is no signs outside the front entrance it’s just a bar called The mango bar so you have to walk through that first to get to the apartments which we didn’t know.

Breakfast was good. Appreciate hard working owners! They are just Awesome! Will recomend to our friends & will stay there again on my next visit! Thank you for making our stay beautiful ❤️🌺

If neighbors are not so loud but, this not in the owners/resort control. Kids gone wild on their holiday!

the receptionist wouldn’t allow my one friend to walk me to my room and I saw multiple people bringing back friends but she would only say something to me, the room was extremely hot so I couldn’t even sleep because they placed the AC unit above the closet so it wouldn’t cool the room

We liked that the staff was amazingly friendly! Everyone was so nice and lovely to us 😍 the pool area was amazing, the room was very spacious! The food and drinks were delicious. Location is perfect in Malia.

Just the shower wasn’t very clean and we didn’t feel very comfortable with that, but that was really the only thing.

Very clean, the staff was helpfull, the place is very well taken care, beautiful garden and the swimming pool is very nice. It is well located in Malia.

They were only changing the towels every 3 days and they didn't provide towels for swimming pool, which I think was a pitty. There were no opaque curtains in the room.

We were lucky and had the Suite booked for our stay. It was very fancy and clean and we really enjoyed staying at Danaides. The staff is super nice and the pool area is very beautiful. I would really recommend staying there! It also is in the middle of everything and you can reach everything in a short walk. I am gonna miss the cute puppy of the owner and the cat 🙃

The location of the appartments is great. It is right next to the strip of Malia and only a few minutes walk to the old city of Malia. The best part of Danaides has to be the swimming pool, which we enjoyed a lot.

The appartments were a bit bare in general, with only the bare minimum in furniture. The beds weren't as comfortable as we had hoped for.

The pool area and the bar in front are amazing. Really good cocktails and shisha that you should try. We normally don’t like swimming pools but this one was such a chill place that we spent half of our time there. The staff and the owners are all notably nice and polite!

Our room was average and the bed was not really comfortable. Apart from that it was quite big and very clean.

Fab location right on the strip in Malia yet you can’t hear anything when on the property. Such an amazing price and such lovely staff. We had such a fab stay and can’t recommend enough.
