Overall the place is quite, away from the hustle bustle from the main ghaats. The rooms were neat.

The location involves a bit of walk from Assi Ghat through not so good areas. For this, it didn't seems to be a value for money experience for us.

1) The cooperative staff 2) Space availability to chill. the top floor eating space is fantastic as it offers both inside dining option as weel as outside ghat view eating option. 3) Huge terrace area is also available to chill. The night view if the Ghat from terrace makes it an amazing experience. However seasons plays an important role in the experince. 4) Availability of home style cooked food.

Little away from the chaos of Varanasi, situated in a quiet residential colony almost a km away from assi Ghat. Some rooms and balconies gives you the panoramic view of Ganges and the ghats cresent, which looks spectacular in the day as well as night. Hosts are helpful & nice.

I wish the bed/mattress was more comfortable.

Best is the location. Very close to Assi Ghat, which is, in our opinion, the most happening ghat of Varanasi. From morning 5 AM the Subah-E-Banaras and ganga Aarti starts and also free Yoga sessions been done there in the morning. Evening also Ganga Aarti and lots of other activities been performed at the Ghat. Ghat is very neat and clean. Guest house run by a family with the help of few staff members. All are very well behaved, special mention to Rahul, who is very polite and humble and the other one is the service boy (I forgot the name), who will follow all your instructions and requests with a smile :).

1st is, the property is little inside, so for elderly people and small kids its not easy to walk till Assi Ghat, which is 1 Km. from the Guest House. Young + middle age can manage easily. No lift facility, hence elderly people who is having any walking issue or knee/joint problems, won't find it suitable/comfortable. No vehicle like Auto or Rikshaw also not available easily at the location though guest house can arrange upon request. No toiletries were provided except towels, we had to request them for soap, dustbin, and dustbins were very dirty due to no dustbin bags were given with that, so every guest throw their waste directly to the bins. They should clean dustbins if they are not providing bin bags for waste disposal. There is a canteen on the roof top, but the cook was little arrogant. Food was average, minimal spice and salt used in every item hence if you like spicy food you have to request him for that. Not much choices in the menu. Paratha, puri or bread items. They should include some South Indian breakfast dishes as well, as I noticed many south people come to Varanasi, hence dosa, idli and vada would be good if they the same in the menu.

The staff is very friendly and helpful especially the owner, Mr. Rahul. Ambience is good too. Rooms are clean and tidy. And, the best thing is location, just near the river. If you want to spend some time in peace, then this place is a must for you.

They really need to change mattress of 107 (the room I stayed in). It's bit uncomfortable.
