Lovely family run B&B Very cosy and homely

Off the main road, but in the country

A great B&B that actually provided an evening meal if required. Very good breakfast and dinner.

The bed was comfortable but only a standard double.

Phyllis was a lovely host! She gave the best recommendations on where to go for dinner and where to go here local traditional Irish music. For breakfast there were many options to choose from, and it was delicious! The day of our arrival she also gave us apple cake and tea which was lovely! The family room we stayed in was very clean with a huge bathroom. It was an easy drive to Galway city. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again!

The key to this location is the hostess. She is the one who makes us feel welcome and nearly a part of the family. She is interesting and interested in us as more than just guests. It is too bad that she is selling to a new family who will not continue the BnB. She is one of a dying breed of truly sweet people. See her while you can.

The building was very nice and its exterior and grounds beautiful, but the internal facilities were fine but aging a bit. This is a traditional Irish BnB; rooms (en suite) in a family home. One of the owners died just a few months ago after an illness; during that time, some of the minor repairs/improvements were delayed (for very good reason).

I wish we could stay longer than one night. Phyllis, the owner, is very welcoming and she made us feel like home. The house has a personal touch and offer real authentic Irish experience. Everything was very clean. Traditional Irish breakfast. B&B is about 15min drive to the city centre of Galway, before heading to the city we got plenty of precious tips from the host. I can highly recommend this place, hope to come back soon.

Hoists was delightful. Excellent food. Quiet location. Very clean.

The owner, Phyllis, was delightful and very welcoming. The room was nice and the breakfast excellent. The house was comfortable and cosy. The property was beautiful - a little isolated, but google maps got us there with no problem.

Our only issue was the sink in our bathroom was quite slow to drain.

Phillis and Eimer are 1st class Ladies So welcoming and Friendly. Booked at last minute and so glad we chosen the perfect place for the night. Thank you so much Ladies

Didn't like leaving

beautiful entry with a cheerful red door and flowers, greeted by our host and her sister- the home was surrounded by farmland, a short walk to a small lake with swans, across the road from sheep and lambs in pasture and near some traditional thatched roof homes. The home was welcoming, warm and clean.

We love staying at this place, place is always clean and tidy and the owners are always so welcoming and the breakfast is lovely. We have stayed here the last 2 years just before Christmas we went down for our anniversary and we got engaged that evening when we got back Phil left a box of chocolates outside the door for us while was such a lovely thought, we will definitely be back again this year.

Everything it was the nicest B&B I have stayed in very welcoming,and Phyllis couldn't do either for us when we arrived even gave our little girl a coke and a bar when we got there, very Nice woman and so was her sister, breakfast was lovely,room very cleanand beds were very comfy..

Nothing I didn't like

It is an amazing and cozy place with a very polite, hospitable, and caring owner. It is like you came to your relatives on weekend. Everything is great. My 100% recommendation and thanks to Philly for her hospitality.

Extraordinary, very cosy and lovely host

The lady was extremely friendly, it felt like being at home, the food was excellent and the room was very nice. I got a little sick to my stomach being there and the lady helped me, without a doubt I totally recommend it.

Phyliss is a very nice lady. The breakfast was good.

Phyllis is an absolute delight.

A lovely place and they could not be more helpful and very friendly

It was our pleasure to stay at Beech Lodge B&B last weekend. We really had the most amazing stay here. You will not get a better hostess than Phyliss! She is so welcoming & she went out of her way to make sure that we had a most memorable stay. Our two & a half year old daughter had a really great time too. Phyllis is a qualified chef & her breakfasts are superb! She also cooks dinner if you so choose. We had steak & chips & salmon & vegetables & it was outstanding! We also had fresh scones every day & they were delicious. The property is charming & it is absolutely spotless & we stayed in a lovely comfortable room. We also had the pleasure of meeting Emer, a sister of Phyliss.

Phyllis was a delightful host. She has a beautiful home that is warmly decorated. (The scented candles in the foyer was most welcoming.) A tasty breakfast was served in a richly appointed room. Her pillows were the best of any stop on our trip.
