Location is in the historic central district, hard to reach by car so we walked. Staff very professional and helpful!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The room is very big and historical, it felt very special to stay in a palazzo that had been in the same family for hundreds of years. It's in a good location too. I just wish I had tried the fan in a different plug earlier, it worked perfectly but not in the plug that it was in at first. I didn't ask the owner about it so none of this is his fault, he was very helpful with everything. Just wanted to say that the fan does work perfectly!! The wifi was super good too.

Really special place to stay in!

The palace is high up in the old town close to the Minerva botanical garden and is beautifully appointed with antique furnishings and to sleep under a glorious domed painted ceiling is truly memorable!

Wonderful place! The beautiful interior of a three-hundred-year-old house, frescoes on the ceiling, and original decor create an unforgettable atmosphere. Very nice and hospitable owners.

We had the pleasure of staying in the Palazzo Conforti for a short evening in Salerno after a trip down the Amalfi Coast and we found the place absolutely stunning. Not only does it represent traditional charm, elegance, and art, the place is located in the historical centro and is kept in pristine condition. The owner was very kind and accommodating, reaching out prior to arrival to confirm check in time that would suit us. He was also very helpful in figuring out our next-day boat ride to Capri. We would highly recommend a stay in this historical location!

Very nice and special room! It’s close to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Centrally located in old town, everything within walking distance. The property itself is a piece of art, with its frescos on the (6 meter high?) ceiling and the antique furniture. Great look over old town and the harbour from the bed! Michael was very helpful!

If you come by car, you have to make a reservation for a garage upfront as the palazzo is in a ZLT area. Tipp: If you arrive on the weekend, it makes sense to park just above old town (via salvatore de renzi) where you usually park by the hour, but it‘s free on weekends.

Palazzo Conforti is a beautiful home nestled in the Old Town of Salerno. The narrow streets off the old town make there way to a Main Street which has many great restaurants in a row perfect for couples and family. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, the streets of the old town have some beautiful restaurants and lead to a central piazza which is home to fashion shops, more restaurants and cafes. Palazzo Conforti has a beautiful large room with a stunning hand painted ceiling. The host, Salvatore is very welcoming and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay. We highly recommend it.

Old world charm. Sleeping under that ceiling was worth everything. No elevator or air conditioning but it was still a very comfortable and welcoming stay. The view is beautiful, still central but just removed enough from the Main Street to have a peaceful relaxing place to enjoy your stay. Absolutely loved it. So much character. Hosts were very kind, accommodating and helpful.
