The location was great because it is only a few minutes walk to the train station as well as city center. We took the Bernina Express bus from Tirano to Lugano. From the Lugano bus station, cross the street and walk along the sidewalk towards the train station until you see the ramp that leads to the hotel. The hotel sign is hard to see as it is blocked by overgrown trees.
The room we stayed at was not spacious enough for us and our luggages but we didn’t mind it since we stayed there only for one night and it’s a very well maintained and clean hotel.
Breakfast was just the typical Swiss breakfast including but not limited to assorted bread, cheeses, bacon, scrambled eggs, cut up fruits.

Location!! Short walk to the train station and a one minute walk from the vernacular stop that takes you up or down the hill. As you are high up the view is wonderful but still only a short walk to the lively restaurant and shopping area as well as the lakefront.
Andreas in reception was wonderful, so welcoming and very helpful.
Hotel is a bit dated and in need of an update but the location more than compensates for this.

Proximity from train station but you must walk on very steep curved road. Taxi wouldn’t take you there because it is very short distance.

first it’s quite noisy as it’s next to the motorway and as this is something we oversaw…we love tranquility!
and it’s not the best value for money to be honest. to pay almost 500 usd per night for the 3 star hotel which is quite old, needs refurbishment for sure was a bit strange…

Breakfast was great. Location is prime, and easily accessable to the city. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and also made parking our car very easy and stress free.

Very good hotel near the station perched above the town with good views. Everything was good for my stay, decent sized room and a good breakfast buffet with attentive staff. This is a hotel I'll be happy to stay at again in the future.
The walls of my room were a bit thin and people in the corridor could easily be heard when entering and leaving their rooms.

Location: near a train station; A few minutes walk from the city center. We received a ticket for free travel on public transport in the entire Ticino region.
A rich breakfast. It is possible to purchase additional meals as well, a menu appears clearly in advance, at the beginning of each day.
The staff at the hotel provides an answer to any question about transportation and itineraries.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a upgraded room with a huge balcony, which was really nice with a view. The location of this hotel is amazing. Breakfast was lovely too.
The place was a bit rusty as it is a very old building. But the room was very clean.

We stayed in a studio room. It was well lit, spacious, and clean, and had a spacious bathroom. There were a lot of utensils and dishes, toilet paper, bags, and paper towels. The closet was comfortable, and there was a safe.
The location is very convenient: it's close to the downtown and to the train station. However, it's a steep slope from the downtown to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station.
The staff is very responsive.
It's our second time in this hotel, and in a studio room.
We liked the #1 studio room better than the #3 studio room where we stayed this time. The street noise was a bit bothersome. Also, there weren't enough hooks and shelves in the bathroom, but it's a common issue.

The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly both for check in and out. At the restaurant service was impeccable and dinner was delicious. I has a wonderful carbonara and involtini cooked following the traditional Italian way.
Very good breakfast with a variety of options. I had to leave at 5:30 am and they made sure that there was a good breakfast for me despite the fact that they’re open at 6:00 am.
I had a short stay and an early train to Malpensa airport. The location was perfect for an early start.

Perfect location just a few steps from the station, but still very quiet. Good breakfast and confortable rooms. Perfect for a pitstop in Lugano.
Nothing to complain about, I would return here if I'm back in Lugano again.
