I love this place feels like home

Spacious, clean and comfortable. I arrived way ahead of check in time and the staff gave me a room to take a shower and freshen up - this was so appreciated.

The only complaint is that the walls and front door to hallway are paper thin and you can hear every commotion in the hallway. This was bothersome at night

At checkin got free upgrade from studio to spacious 1 bed apt. Was on 10th floor so no street noise, just 'call to prayer' Highly recommend food in 15th floor restaurant. Had 'huge' American breakfast, that was cooked exctly how I like it at well less than half the price of EU restaurants. Their lamb biriani was superb, so had it twice. Can get full menu on room service. Suite had full kitchen with large fridge/freezer. lot of storage space in bedroom plenty of sockets, king size bed. Decent size bathroom, with hot water coming through quickly and consistently during popular times of day.

Would be hard pressed to do any serious cooking as only cooking utensil was 1 frying pan, despite having full stove. Also suspect some items missing, e.g. only 1 glass tumber, only 1 breakfast bowl. No alcohol, not even NA beer, unlike my Dubai hotel which had English pub and licensed restaurant. Wish this and most hotels would leave appliance/tv manuals/instructions in room, with list of TV stations. Was advised at check in that laundry service was not currently available. Was washing machine innsuite, a plus point but no dryer/drying facilities. Normally avoid gulf area in summer as so hot, so in August it meant Ubers for even short trips e.g. to mall nearby.
