Lovely yard. Broken dishwasher. Crumby knives. I hated having a curtain at the en suite instead of a door. Otherwise excellent. Nice to have the bicycles too.

The house is very nice and perfectly located. The grounds are pretty and well maintained and we loved the house bikes to get us to town whenever we wanted. It was a group of 6 of us and the house is comfortable and provided us with everything we needed for our stay and we loved the proximity to Unico beach club where we spent our days. This was our second visit to Laguna Azul and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We spent the holiday as a family here. Our family includes five adults and two kids (4&6). The set up of this house is ideal. Prioritizing communal space as well as spacious and well positioned bathrooms. The yard is great for relaxing with the kids. We were visited by small lizards and nighttime Coaties. The yard is fully connected within the fence making it a great space for kids to explore safely. Único beach club is a short walk for good ceviche and drinks. Cabs line up at the Fives resort across the street making for easy transportation arrangements. It’s close enough to town to be convenient but far enough for a relaxing vibe. We hope to come back some day soon.

We had an excellent stay at Tracey's place. The house itself is fantastic, comfortable beds and a great sitting area out back with the pool. The location is ideal. On a quiet end of the main street, very close to the beach and a close walk to many restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here

Casa Laguna Azul is a lovely oasis near downtown Puerto Morelos, and it's also literal steps from a wonderful beach club (Unico). The home itself is true to the photos - open, clean & beachy. The backyard and pool are fantastic - you could spend the whole day back there and never get to the beach. Town is walking or biking distance (there are plenty of bikes!) and there are good restaurants on the way. Tracy is a wonderful host - she was extremely responsive before our trip (we were bringing a toddler and had a lot of questions!) as well as while we were there. We had everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay - highly recommend!

My family stayed at this property in July 2022 and we loved it. The house is clean and well taken care of. The backyard is beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool. It has everything you need. We also loved riding their bikes into town every day to eat. There are very good restaurants in town and ice cream shops, a bakery, bars and a very well maintained town square. We went dancing at Sirenas and had the best Snapper of our lives at Punta Corcho (twice). We also had amazing breakfasts twice at El Nicho. It is a quiet town and we all felt very safe. There is a beach bar about two blocks towards town between the Padi diving school and Unico Beach club where we spent a lot of time. Great service and atmosphere. The only negative is that the dishwasher was broken and the couches are not very comfortable for heavy guys like my husband but we spent most of our time out or playing games at the table. This is beyond anyones control but the Sargassum was very heavy when we were there. It makes it hard to enjoy the beach and stinks at times. It was bad all the way up to Cancun. We will definitely be back to this house in Puerto Morelos!

We used the transfer device Tracey recommended and had no issues. We immediately hit the beach, which is just across the street. The location is at the far north end of town, away from the bustle of the plaza. We used the bikes to ride in to town, or just walked across the street to The Fives Hotel, where there were alway taxis waiting. A/c worked well, beds were comfortable. Pool was great! We felt completely safe around town, no matter what time of day or night. Great trip!

Beautiful house and very convenient location. Very safe. Cleaning service was superb, as well as maintenance. Communication was a bit off with the manager but did not affect our stay. Very thankful with the maintenance gentlemen who came every morning to clean the pool and take care of the property. Pool is a bit small of what you can see in the pictures but a good floating beds will make a difference. Bring tons of mosquito repellent, they are everywhere! Will definitely be back!

We had a great time staying at Laguna Azul and would absolutely stay again. There were a couple minor hiccups like the dishwasher being out of commission and the water cooler not working properly that led me to a four star review. Other than that everything was great.

The property was exactly as advertised from the pictures. The location at the north end of one of the primary North South road was great. Easy to get cabs from The Fives hotel across the street. Also convenient for food and drinks at the restaurants there. Very close access to the beach. Short 10 minute walk or 3 minute bike ride to all of the restaurants. Would book again.

Well appointed home with comfortable furnishings, nicely landscaped slice of paradise with private pool. The bikes provided were a game changer for quick morning runs to the market. Great beach clubs right across the street. Highly recommend!

Spacious and CLEAN! Excellent location in quiet, safe north end. Very private with fully gated yard and lovely outdoor space and pool for after beach hours. Our group of 6 adults enjoyed this property to the fullest! We WILL be back! ❤

This is in a great location and very comfortable accomodations.

We absolutely loved our week at this beautiful home. The house had everything we needed. The yard had a beautiful pool, gorgeous landscaping (no fruit — except coconuts — on any trees that we could see), comfy seating including that magical hanging bed plus cute lizards to entertain us. The kitchen was really well equipped even with things like a juicer and a mandolin! The tv, sound system, and WiFi all worked great. The beds were comfy. Robert, the manager responded quickly to everything we needed and gave great recommendations (massage therapist, driver, and places to eat and shop). We fell in love with the town which is a short walk away. The whole experience felt very safe during COVID. Everyone working in shops and restaurants was masked and just about everything was outside in open air. We are already plotting our next visit!

I own a property in Puerto Morelos, so I know that internet is rough there, but we had issues with communicating with the Manager to get the correct Internet login information. My suggestion for the owners is that they put the Login info for the Wifi right on the refrigerator or right on the wall in the entryway by the lights, so that there is no issue. Other than that, the place is wonderful, even though we didn't use the bikes, they are a great option, and we loved going across the street and being able to use the FIVES restaurant and beachclub! This is a great oasis and I would highly recommend! Don't hesitate to book this home! We reported a slight leak around the toilet (did not affect us, just fyi for management) and he was there fixing it the next day, on Christmas day! Gardener keeps the property in tip-top shape. Just the right amount of privacy vs. Management contact (other than not having Wifi at first and therefore not being able to connect!) It happens....

This house was so comfortable in every aspect...location was perfect, close to beautiful beach, close to town and everything you could need. The kids had such a good time at the beach and in the home's pool. Beautiful backyard!

The house was as amazing as it looks on the pics. Property manager was very responsive to any questions and references for tours. There were also cooking supplies like spices and olive oil there so we didn’t need to buy. We will definitely be back

We are so glad we found this place. Of no fault of the owner, but it rained the whole time we were there and we were glad we had the pool and the cozy back yard. Having the kitchen and separate rooms for the whole family was key to our enjoyment for sure. Everyone in town knows Tracy. She made so many great recommendations. We would highly recommend anyone interested in staying there. Heck, even the on site property manager, maintenance and cleaning folks were AMAZING…really can’t say enough great stuff. We hadn’t traveled out of the country with our 3 kids and she helped us navigate that as well. If we could give 10 stars we would.

We truly enjoyed our week-long vacation! The house, its location, and the town are perfect for a family get-away. The beach is very close and we took leisurely walks to town every day. We already want to come back!

The pool is very pretty, with great lighting and nice tile. It is not heated, which I think is common in the area, and probably unnecessary in the warmer summer months,, however too cool for us in January. There is a maintenance gentlemen who comes daily and is extremely helpful. There are bikes to use which we couldn’t have done without. The inside is well designed and appointed. We had everything we needed to cook meals, the beds were so comfortable, and it was cool enough each night to sleep comfortably . Having an in unit washer and dryer really helped us pack light. Tracey the owner was very responsive leading up to our trip AND when we were there. Thank you so much Tracey for all the recommendations and info.The town, according to owner, was on the quieter side due to the pandemic. However, the lovely locals, white sand, blue water and laid back vibe were all still present in abundance, as well as better Covid safety measures of anywhere in the states. I love that you can still walk around and see some local people and feel like you’re in a true Mexican village. The restaurants were some of the very best we’ve eaten at. This place was 2 blocks from the beach and a 15 min walk or a 5 min bike ride to the town center. We spent 10 days here. The ages of my sons ranged from 20-12 yo and we always found something to do or not do, depending on our mood. We could have all stayed longer and we will be back. Take me back to Casa Laguna Azul!! From the beautiful landscaping to the super comfy furnishings, everything about this place is amazing. We especially loved the close proximity to the beach. Best vacation ever!

This was our first trip to Mexico. Our two daughters asked for travel and adventure instead of gifts for last Christmas. My wife found some cheap plane tickets and for about three days during Christmas break we poured over and studied different areas and homes near or close to Cancún. At no point did we ever consider the resorts. If we are going to travel to another country we want to experience their people and their culture. Not travel to another country to experience our own people and culture. We read and heard many wonderful things about Puerto Morelos. We knew this was the town we wanted to spend our vacation. We had certain things that we knew we wanted and once we found Casa Laguna Azul we knew we found the right place. My wife and Tracy text and spoke and she answered so many of our questions. USA transport picked us up at the airport and took us to the house. Very smooth and nice not having to rent and drive. We arrived at the house early. The wonderful ladies were not done cleaning so we dropped our bags and headed to the beach. The walk to the beach is so close. After eating at the Diver Lodge and enjoying a few beverages we went back to the house to explore. The house and pool were perfect. Our beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and cool! The backyard was private and a true getaway. We loved having the bikes. Spent a lot of time driving around town and exploring. So many wonderful restaurants and kind people. Roberto was excellent! Great guy! He had suggested Lighthouse tours and we reached out to Tomas. He stopped by the house and we discussed the various options. We ended up doing the snorkeling, Cenote’s, and our daughters went to Cancún for the day. Tomas was great! Made so many friends. Loved biking down to the city square on the weekend evenings shopping for local art. This was an amazing trip! The house, the town, the people were all wonderful! We always felt safe and we will for sure return to this wonderful part of the world!

My family stayed in the Laguna Azul house in Puerto Morelos over 4th of July week and (3 adults, 2 kids). It was very comfortable and easy to access from the main highway/airport. The house was clean, nicely decorated and furnished, and the AC kept everyone comfortable throughout the week. We also appreciated that the cleaners came every few days! The kids loved the lagoon pool in the backyard and it was a peaceful space to hang out. The house is very close to the beach and conveniently located to restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed this property end of June 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed it. First off the house is simply amazing...very well decorated and designed (it has that resort feel upon walking in), spacious bedrooms and baths, nice kitchen, and a stellar backyard. We had a 6 and 7 year old with us, and we likely spent more time in the pool than in the house. The pool is a perfect size for a small family. Also enjoyable were the fresh coconuts in the backyard...sippin’ coconut water away and enjoying the sun. The location is great and within steps of the beach, within a few more steps to Unico Beach bar and restaurant (check it out online - the BEST ceviche we’ve had - order the Caribbean one & passion fruit one), and within a couple mins bike ride to the town (house has bikes to use). Thanks for helping us create a lasting memory! Highly recommended. Oh, and the A/C works great throughout the house too!

We stayed at Casa Laguna Azul for 7-days in April, 2019. The house is beautiful, clean and appeared just as it does in the pictures online. All included items were in good condition and we loved the use of the bicycles, beach chairs and beach umbrella. House cleaners came twice during our week stay, pool cleaning happened regularly and a yard keeper came to clean the yard every other day. The beach is a short 2 to 3 minute walk and you are then steps away from the best beach club in the area, Unico Beach Club. Chair and palapa rentals at Unico are only 120-pesos...which is a great deal. We loved our stay and hope to return to this rental in Puerto Morelos again!

Beautiful home Perfect distance from the city center. Stays quiet at night but close enough to ride bikes into town. We had a great time. Thanks for sharing your home

We had viewed the pictures that were posted on VRBO. But you never really know how recent the pictures are until you see the space first hand. We were blown away the beauty and attention to detail that we were presented with. Our every need was thought of. Our group was two couples. We had plenty of space to satisfy every one. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We could pack less and have space for all those gifts we were planning on bringing back. All the beds were very, very comfortable and there was tons of storage available. As we hoped, the locations was perfect. The beach is across the street. We enjoyed that the home was in the quiet part of town. After a 10 minute walk you will find yourself in the middle of restaurant row. There are so many wonderful and reasonable places to eat! We had a fantastic stay, excellent value!

I returned today from a girls' trip to Puerto Morelos. It was the first time to stay in this cute town and we were all so impressed with this house! Casa Laguna Azul is such a terrific house with such a great property (and owner). It was an Oasis! We felt safe the entire time. The property manager, Roberto, helped with whatever we needed. We used the bicycles everyday and and it was so easy to get around town for shopping, eating, etc. The house was across the street from the beach and we loved that we could go back and forth from Unico Beach Club to this house easily. It was a perfect place for a chill weekend trip!

It does not get any better than this! This is the best beach vacation rental we have ever stayed in. From the perfect house (great layout), to the relaxing pool in the back, you know you are on vacation the second you walk in the door. The location is perfect too. Just steps from the Unico Beach Club and the beautiful beaches of Mexico. The house also comes with cruiser bikes - we rode them into town everyday for dinner. Puerto Morelos is quickly becoming our favorite town in Mexico. The small town feel coupled with the incredible food makes Puerto Morelos a "must visit". Overall, we had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back!

I spent 6 days here with my son, his wife, and my two grandsons. We felt very comfortable right away. The backyard was a joy to be in and although the pool was too cold for me, my grandsons loved it. The gardener was there every other day and was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location very much. It was quiet, yet close enough to town that we could walk to any restaurants or just for ice cream. The beach was great and not crowded. Everything was excellent and we will cherish the memories for many years to come!
