Beautiful cottage and wonderful area of the world to visit!!

Leigh Nook is such a wonderful little cottage which is not only stunning but very well equipped. The master bedroom is such a cosy space with a wonderful bathtub with a window above looking out to the stars. The bed was so very comfortable with gorgeous high quality bedding, it was very difficult to leave! It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen for cooking our own meals, too. We loved sitting on the table in the lounge with the view over the fields in the morning. The views from the garden are really lovely and peaceful. It's a short drive to our favourite Glastonbury town, with a bus stop a 15 minute walk away whick takes you to the centre. There are some lovely shops and restaurants in Street itself. You won't regret booking here, it's such great value for money! The hosts Andrew and Kirsty were lovely and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to come back to enjoy the space and surroundings again. Thank you guys! We couldn't find a pen to write in the comments book but we had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay and the hosts were the perfect balance of hospitable and discreet. The accommodation is fabulous, very warm and cosy through winter nights. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

From the minute we walked into this lovely property we felt very at home. It was a very comfortable house to return to after a day sightseeing. . It was very clean, spacious and in a perfect location. The hosts Kirsty and Andrew had thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We would love to stay again and have no hesitation in recommending it. The photographs don’t do it justice.

Kirsty and andrew are two of the most loveliest hosts we have ever met, nothing was too much trouble when our dates had to be changed several times. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need a real home from home. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Excellently equipped cottage and friendly hosts

We were 2 couples who stayed here for a long weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and wished that we could have stayed longer. The cottage looks small from the outside but it is very roomy. We loved all the bathrooms including the one downstairs. All the beds were very comfortable with quality linens and towels provided. Great water pressure in the showers, didn't try the lovely big bath in the master suite as it was too warm for a bath. The owners were very friendly and helpful and their 2 labradors Archie & WInston were a delight. The road outside could be noisy and busy at times but we soon got used to it and it didn't disturb us. The local village of Street has all the supermarkets you could ever need including the budget ones and there are plenty of takeaways, fish and chip shops and restaurants. Clarks Village is also worth a look if you like shopping. We had a great stay here and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Leigh Nook Cottage. It is well laid out and had everything we needed. The master suite in particular is a really comfortable space. Communication with our hosts was quick and easy beforehand and relaxed and friendly during our stay. Street town centre, with a reasonable selection of bars and restaurants, is a lesiurely 25 minue walk. If you book to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Kirsty and Andrew were great hosts, along with their two labradors, whom we soon fell in love with. We had a great week, the weather was kind and the cottage was better than advertised. The beds were mega comfortable, it was home from home. Thank you.

This cottage is just as you see in the online photos. It was spacious, clean, warm (we were there in early October), the beds, sofas etc. were comfortable. We were able to have family members visit the cottage and spend the day with us, and still socially distanced as the lounge/dining room is very large and has two sofas. We rearranged the room slightly, moved the kitchen table into the dining area, and used the two tables for the four of us. Kirsty and Andy were friendly and very helpful. The ‘check in’ was simple, a combination key safe outside the door. The house had been empty for at least a week before we arrived, and there was hand sanitiser by the front door. Also cleaning products in the kitchen, including anti bacterial spray. The cottage is in a lovely, quiet spot, surrounded by fields, but is on the edge of Street, so you can walk into the town if you want to, although you probably do need a car if you want to explore the area. All in all a lovely cottage, we enjoyed our two weeks there, and if we go back to the area to see family, we would stay here again.

The owners were very pleasant and welcoming, I would say the photos do not do this place justice, everything is immaculate, very VERY clean, but what really impressed me was the quality of the whole house. The 3 bathrooms were all fitted out to a really high standard, the towels were plush 5 star hotel type, beds all excellent and comfortable, everything seemed brand new, big modern tv and very smart comfy sofas. We used the house as a base for exploring Somerset for which it was ideal. Glastonbury was a 5 minute car drive away, and if you want to shop the designer outlet in the village is huge and excellent. Fab house, great value.

A very high quality cottage in a beautiful setting, perfect for ambling in to town or out walking. The hosts were fantastic. Street had everything we needed and there was lots to see and do all around the area. A brilliant holiday in a lovely part of the UK.

We had a wonderful time. Cottage was great also had a very good location close to all our destinations. Kirsty∧y were amazing very helpful and kind people. I would highly recommend this cottage.

This is a lovely cottage for 4 people. The lounge is nice & big. It's great having 2 ensuite bathrooms and another toilet with shower downstairs. All very well equipped. The only things we didn't like were the busy road - but the sound-proofing was good & you didn't hear the traffic once indoors - it was just difficult getting out of the property, across the traffic. Also you couldn't walk anywhere - everywhere required a drive.

This has to be the best accommodation that I have stayed in! Amazing

We had a lovely stay at Leigh Nook. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are particularly warm and very nicely decorated. Comfy beds, thick carpets upstairs. The lounge is very spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen small but perfect. Nice small back garden with chairs and table too, which we used in the one sunny hour! The weather ruined our plans, so we were glad of the comfortable accommodation and central heating; the big TV and DVD player came in handy! The location is great, a view of Glastonbury Tor just down the road, and fields and lovely garden to the side and rear. Ample parking too. 2 minutes to Street, 10 minutes to Glastonbury, 45 mins to Bristol Airport - very easy access. Kirsty gave a very friendly welcome. I would thoroughly recommend Leigh Nook for a short break or a longer stay. Really great stay and excellent value for money for the quality of the accommodation. We hope to go back in better weather.

The property had everything the location was superb a short walk into Steet and a bus service that was excellent .
