room not clean, bathroom bin full on arrival, ant infestation over front door and glass not clean. Many steep steps to room, ok for us many would struggle.

We stayed in a sky villa, which was beautiful, with a great view and the was clean and well maintained.

The location is not close to anything, and more importantly the road to Kandy is a bit off and deserted - I would not go here as a solo traveller. Moreover, the pool area is very small and has some building going on next to it, and the breakfast was expensive and not great. The staff was very kind but didn’t speak English.

Such a lovely place to stay, a short tuk tuk ride into the centre for shops etc. Our room was lovely and clean and had a spacious balcony overlooking the pool. The people working there are so friendly and helpful! The pool has sun all day and was just the perfect place to stay after a long journey from colombo!

make sure you arrive with enough time in the evening to get a ride into town to eat something or pre arrange to have dinner there beforehand. They shut the gates at 10pm so you need to be back before then.

The price isn't fare for the facilities. There ware used bed sheet when arrived place.

There was an unfinished building about 3 meters from the whole front elevation shocking cheated again by good old booking.com again nothing like the photos really run down found another hotel site with true ratings not made up ones

Your lies

The skywalk villa’s were very nice and comfortable. A little kitchen with fridge, amazing bed, good shower. Good view. The place is a little bit further, at the river of Kandy, about 10-15 minutes by tuk tuk from the centre/lake. This takes you away from the busy and loud city.

Unfortunately the accommodation had NO idea we were coming. There was one staff member that spoke hardly any English. That is generally ok, if they know about your booking. But this was so unwelcoming. Everyone was apparently on holiday, the boss, the manager, the chef. This meant no food or drinks available. Only some juice. They couldn’t help us with any information and we couldn’t speak to the manager until we weren’t ready to pay the full price. Immediately the manager was very rude. We were very willing to talk, but he even cussed through the phone. This is unacceptable in our opinion. Rooms: yes, Service: NO!

The place it’s nice, well maintained, and the beds are extra-comfortable.
