Big rooms full of character, friendly host, nice common room

We travelled in April, outside the season. There was no staff present, so no breakfast available. But we could easily buy that in the supermarket instead.

Lovely, cosy guesthouse full of wonderful original artwork. We were warmly welcomed and felt at home almost immediately. Great food and a very generous breakfast. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

Well, this stay was a complete surprise! I rented a guestroom in the Owner's house with an en suite bathroom, and the room size was incredibly large and at such an incredible and affordable price. The Owner will prepare both home-cooked breakfasts and dinners at an extra and very affordable costs, and I highly recommend that the guests take advantage of that option and especially if you are a visiting foreigner such as I was. The Owner takes great passion and pride to show her natural Georgian hospitality by fixing those wonderful and sumptuous meals with many Georgian specialties thrown in. I had to beg her 'Please, no more food!' Haha! But the most surprising part of the stay was to discover that the Owner is a nationally-recognized Georgian artist with some of her works on display at the Georgian Museum of Fine Arts in Tbilisi. This house is her summer house where she spends her time in creating new works when she's not attending to her guests and other essentials. I ended up purchasing one of her works at an incredibly affordable price unheard of in Western countries for a painting of this quality by a nationally-recognized artist!

You have to be 'quick' in the shower as the hot water won't last very long!

Artist's House is a wonderful haven of creativity and comfort. Ia, the owner, is incredibly generous and welcomed us warmly. Our room was very large and comfortable with everything we needed. We could park our car right out front. I highly recommend this place!

Such a nice and welcoming experience at Artist's House in Tetritskaro. I had a spacious and comfortable room with the walls covered by paintings by the owner. She started the guest house to host students for her master classes. During my stay for one night I was the only guest. I was served coffe, cakes and figs on the balcony when I came back from my hike to stunning Samshvilde. Then a generous dinner with home made Khinkali and a lavish breakfast.

Great food, nice surroundings and atmosphere
