Bellissimo, spazioso e completamente attrezzato centro città 3 camere da letto metà villetta a schiera a metà con bellissimo giardino sul retro. Situato vicino al fiume Ness, offre una bellissima passeggiata di 5 minuti in città attraverso la vecchia Inverness con una vista davvero meravigliosa sul Castello di Inverness e sulle chiese lungo la strada. A 5 minuti a piedi dal Canale di Caledonia e dal porto turistico, a 30 secondi a piedi dall'acclamato bar / ristorante Waterfront e dal supermercato locale, questa struttura è situata in posizione ideale per sfruttare al meglio la vostra visita a Inverness senza dover fare affidamento su auto o taxi.
Il cottage ha un piccolo giardino d'inverno dove è possibile fare colazione e cenare mentre si godono i suoni della fauna selvatica del giardino - tavolo con 6 sedie. Rose Cottage is homely, functional, walking distance to town along the River Ness and with proximity to AMAZING locations whether you feel like a short day out or a longer drive. It's host Gregor is friendly, down to earth and a great tour guide if you like him to be.

Loved our stay at Gregor’s. Easy walk to downtown Inverness, quiet street with permit parking (which Gregor provided for us). Right across from an Aldi so we could stock up on snacks and drinks.
Plenty of space downstairs to spread out and bedrooms worked for our needs - one couple in the queen, one single person in the double bed and another couple taking the room with twin beds. Like camp! :)
French press in kitchen was nice for coffee and Gregor even left us a few food items to get us going (eggs, bacon, bread, milk, butter). So so kind.

The location is an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. Gregor goes above and beyond for his guests. Having seen his bike tours, I asked him about doing a different tour, which he helped research and arrange. When things out of our control went wrong, he did everything he could to help us work through it and provided an excellent day’s adventure! The cottage has plenty of charm, especially the back yard! Highly recommend this cottage or any of Gregor’s.

Gregor's property is steps away from downtown Inverness with all it's colour and entertainment. He is a great host and also helped us with a wonderful tour of the Isle of Skye. It was a long day but he took us to spots where no tour busses were seen. Our photos of these locations are stunning. He is a hard working, and warm man. We highly recommend his property and his tours. Had we more time, we might have used his electric bike tours of skye. Five stars from Jim Dean Greg and myself. thank you Gregor!

We’ve never been greeted by an owner before. Gregor was the funniest by far. Our first meeting with a true Scot. He was so easy to communicate with and always made us laugh. Being our first time in Scotland there’s always adjustments how things are done. His place was super clean and even put food in fridge. Parking on street was never a challenge. Loved the backyard and glass enclosed breakfast nook.

Absolutely Perfect in Every Way!
Our host, Gregor, and his lovely cottage exceeded all our expectations! His hospitality went above and beyond, the cottage was immaculate and so very comfortable, and the location was ideal. Our flight to Inverness got in late on a Saturday night, but Gregor was waiting to greet us and made us feel at home right away. The cottage is just as described, and the sunroom out back is idyllic. I can't say enough wonderful things about this property and this host -- we will definitely be back! Thank you, Gregor, for such an amazing, memorable stay!

Amazing place for a 50th Wedding Anniversary Trip
We booked this lovely property for my In-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary trip. My in-laws were there for 3 weeks and my husband, brother-in-law, son and I were there for a week. Gregor is hands down the best property owner/manager I have ever dealt with and I stay at a lot of VRBO properties!! He was communicative before we arrived. He had the fridge stocked with the basics, bread, milk, butter and even a bottle of celebratory champagne when we arrived. Gregor helped us pick up our rental car, offered his cell phone for any need we may have and suggested his favorite restaurants and pubs. He took my in-laws fishing and bought them a bottle of scotch to enjoy during their visit. He was extremely helpful and kind. The property is beautiful and the garden was lovely, even in early spring. The market is a 3-5 minute walk away and close to the train station. We very much enjoyed our time during the week and my in-laws couldn't have asked for a better place to spend 3 weeks in Inverness! I highly recommend this property!!

Great location
We had an excellent stay. From the moment we booked our stay, the communication from the owner was excellent. He replied quickly to any questions and even offered some great tips for places to go while we were up. The accommodation was in an ideal location with plenty of permit only parking (permits were provided by the owner). We were within easy walking distance of the centre of Inverness but it was also quick to get to and from the house by car because it didn’t require going through the centre.
We received a warm greeting from the owner, Gregor, and it was a nice surprise to find some basics had been provided.
The Waterfront Pub was great for food and drink for all the family and it was only a 2 minute walk round the corner.

RIVERSIDE COTTAGE
We had a great 4 night stay at the very cosy and homely Riverside Cottage. It was in a prime location, with city centre only a few minutes walk along the river and plenty of places to eat out. Gregor was a fine host and made sure that our stay went smoothly and had some good suggestions of places to visit and some funny tales to tell. We look forward to returning to Inverness.

Beautiful home from home
This house was a home from home and an absolute pleasure to spend the start of our holiday in. It is light, airy and much larger inside than the outside appearance suggests. Downstairs there is a very spacious and comfortable living room with a supply of fuel for the burner and, at the rear, one of the double bedrooms and a sunroom with dining table. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is high quality and, unlike many holiday places, equipped for some proper cooking with a good gas hob, proper pans and pots, lots of equipment and a lot of oils, vinegars, spices and other ingredients. Gregor kindly added to to these and left us some groceries and a bottle of wine. Upstairs the bedrooms are bright and the master bedroom is very large. Outside is a well tended, peaceful and also quite private garden with a dining set and a BBQ. The location is perfect, simply walking to the end of the street brings you to the outer edges of the town centre and for evening strolls there is immediately a view of the bridges and the castle lit up on the hill. Gregor himself is an extremely kind host and falls over himself to be helpful. After showing us the house and giving us lots of advice about getting the most from our holiday, he was based nearby and available if needed. We can't recommend a stay with Gregor enough.

Super cottage in a great location

Perfect base
Gregor was great with all the arrangements. The house was very easy to find, parking was virtually at the door (permit provided) and the house was spacious for the four of us plus our dog. Very good heating, comfy living room and excellent smart TV. The sunroom was chilly but the heater really helped. The enclosed garden was great for sitting out in the sun. Could not have been more convenient for the town centre and Aldi. Would highly recommend.

Lovely house , great location
Lovely, cosy, comfortable house, everything you could need provided! Owner really kind and helpful. Location close to city centre, with supermarket, bars and restaurants a short walk away. Parking outside (owner provides permit) Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a base to explore the area.

Wonderful place to stay in Inverness
We loved staying at the Riverside Cottage during our few days in Inverness. We had everything we needed in this spacious home that easily fit 5 adults. The back garden was an oasis after a day of touring. The location was very convenient to the city Centre, just a short walk across the river and near to a grocery store. Gregor could not have been lovelier and more gracious. I highly recommend it to anyone spending a few days in Inverness!

Best in Inverness
Gregor was great! Loved the apartment, close walking to city center. Very clean and well stocked. Gregor was very acceptable and great to chat with. Beds were very comfortable as was the entire apartment. Loved the sun room for breakfast, great place to bird watch. Very close to McLeod’s Fish & Chips, best fish & chips in Inverness, if not of all UK. Hopefully we
get back here soon, and will book again!!

Great location
The home was central and walking distance to all of the sites we wanted to see in the city and under 30 minutes from anything we wanted to see outside the city. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Host was friendly and available for directions and must see places.

Working Away From Home
When you are working away from home, home comforts and your local surroundings are very important.
This property had it all, it was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed.
The local area was great too...just a short walk from shops and places to eat.

The house was very cluttered with the owners personal items, clearly he lives there some of the time - lovely guy and location, but I wouldn't recommend this property.

Cottage was excellent, quiet location in walking distance to Inverness city centre. Minute's walk from a truly exceptional gastro pub (The Waterfront). Gregor was friendly, helpful and great to talk with. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Inverness - 10 out of 10 !

The location, coziness and hospitality shown by both Gregor and this highland city were second to none. We absolutely found the Riverside cottage to be the perfect size for our party of 4 and we would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing host
Absolutely perfect home in a central location, a half block from the riverfront and a half block from the grocery store. Also, not even a half block to a wonderful Gastro Pub. Gregor went above and beyond in many ways but especially by taking an entire day to drive us around and show us sights we wanted to see and he wanted us to experience. It's a well maintained home with everything you could need. I highly recommend this property and hope to go back some day.
