Well equipped, tidy, good lay out , looks clean , comfortable and reasonably price , Ower very accommodating, and pleasant . Lovely beach.
A little tired, kitchen work surface chipped, floor in front room and ceiling need some work , under the bed needs cleaning and cobwebs. Boiler makes a lot of noise .known to be a rough area

The owners promised to pay be a 50% refund concerning my stay of 12 nights, as there was extreme noise from the boiler in the apartment that was not mended till nearly 8 days into the holiday and only upon having to get the owner out twice. We had very little sleep, missed the airshow because of it. Put my daughter completely out of sync concerning her sleeping habits. Still waiting for the refund

Great little place with everything you need
Price point is very high which is a shame as this was the only issue. Aside from that it ticked all of the boxes

Well equipped cottage and close to the beach. Perfect for bringing dogs.
Needs thicker curtains in the bedroom to block the light better. Also curtains or blinds in the kitchen/dining area for privacy at night.

The property was great, perfect for a home from home experience. We called it the Tardis.. from the outside it looked small but the owners had really put a lot of thought into cleverly maximising every space to create a lovely place to stay. Just a two minute stroll to the beach and even less to the bus stop to take you to Clacton, the train station and beyond. Plenty of long, flat walks and bike rides to be had. Lots of local info in the Welcome pack. There were even bowls for visiting doggies - a nice touch.
There wasn't anything to dislike - the only thing that could improve it would be WiFi access. Might be something to consider in the future.
