This is a beautiful relaxing hotel set in a valley. There are many walks to be had and the restaurant is spacious and superb. There is a large outside space that must be delightful in fine weather. We were able to drive to the wonderful town of Vezelay. Musee Zervos is a small and extremely well renovated museum holding a fine collection of artists - Picasso, Max Ernst, Kandinsky, Laurens, Calder etc. We had a stimulating and joyful time walking through this exceptional town.

Wonderful location beside a shallow, fast-moving small river in a wooded valley. Total silence apart from the nature and running water in the river. Good food in the restaurant.

Location was excellent overlooking the river and our room had its own enormous terrace. Dinner was excellent and so was breakfast. All of the staff were efficient and courteous

Nothing springs to mind . The room was a tad smaller than some others we had but that is the age of the building

Absolutely beautiful location with wonderful woods for walking the dogs. Excellent dinner and good breakfast. East to find from motorway - next time might even make it a two-night stop!

The hotel was lovely in a picturesque location. Our room was very spacious with separate seating area.. The dinner and breakfast were very good.

Wonderful stay here, the location was beautiful. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff friendly, helpful and attentive. The dinner we had in the restaurant was fabulous.

it’s uniqueness

Although some distance from the town centre the location is idyllic - in a narrow valley beside a river: relaxing and peaceful location. Staff friendly and very helpful. Excellent food in the restaurant. Very close to a national park.

Large terrace with our room but access is not easy

It's a really beautiful place if you want to have a silent holiday with nature all around you. Breakfirst was nice, the restaurant for the evening was really great. Staff was really friendly, and you can even charge your car for a very fair fee.

Food at dinner was average. Lamb chops well over cooked
