this property is absolutely exquisite. an old mill converted to a venue with amazing family home. the staff are so lovely and even though we had to use translator to communicate (🤓) they were gracious and accommodating. the animals are well-loved and it shows. the place is WELL off the beaten path, so don’t be surprised by the long and partly dirt road to get there. it’s the first place I’ve been in a very long time where you could hear silence. Just wonderful

We loved to be here,everything was amazing and we had a great relaxing time.We chose it for being pet friendly and we could enjoy a great time with our dog,who had the best time with so much space to run and play with other dogs.the quinta is very peaceful and the staff is very nice and kind to us.breakfast was great.We will be back for sure.

Hot water in the bathroom could have been a bit hotter.

GPS played some tricks to find the place

This is a wonderfully quirky place - it is full of art, ceramics, etc. The staff is very friendly and helped us find a restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was amazing!

Wonderful accommodation in a wonderful setting with a wonderful housewife.

I liked everything.

FROZEN is the only way to describe our stay. And it was mild winter weather but unfortunately the rooms are colder than the temperature outside. Probably due to the fact that it’s an old water mill but the installed heating doesn’t work well at all, even with all the doors and windows closed and the heating on high we were frozen. The hot water also wasn’t hot enough to bath in. I’m sure the place is gorgeous and cool in summer but I would avoid it if it’s colder than a 20 degree day through the winter months is very uncomfortable.

Beautiful Alentejo countryside and love the manor house decor, it’s quirky and full of character.

It was very cold everywhere in the house but we will visit again in the summer because we loved the property.

The breakfast was outstanding and the surroundings stunning - and a very comfortable room with super hosts. To be honest everything was reallt great.

Moinho do Alamo provides you with wonderful rural surroundings, a beautifully renovated and decorated estate and an excellent service. At night, you hear the crickets from your open terrace door and can see the stars.
