Enjoyed the stay… cleaners everyday… person on hand locally just in case… location very good. Room for improvement? Drainage needs sorting in the upstairs bedroom. Other than that all good!

We had a great week at Rob’s villa. It was perfect for our needs - well located, clean, plenty of space, well equipped. And the heated pool was a big hit. Rob was super communicative and helpful before and during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Everything was great - the villa has a superb layout and location. It’s in excellent condition and all the equipment worked perfectly with no issues. We loved the tranquility of the garden which is also very well kept. We definitely hope to return.

Great location to everything we needed, beach, restaurants, and supermarket. Villa was spotless and a beautiful outdoor area. We didn’t want to leave. Would definitely come back.

I'm so glad that, after trawling villa sites and viewing so many, we settled upon this villa for our three weeks stay. Our family of five (myself, my husband, and children, 19,15 and 3) plus a couple of days of visits from close family or friends had found the perfect villa for our needs. The villa is stunning, modern and immaculate. We loved that the teenagers bedrooms, although downstairs, were behind another door to the kitchen so we never had to worrying about them waking our three year old at night or vice versa in the morning. We utilised the laundry room and kitchen, everything worked well and was easy to use. The alarm system was also easy to use so we could leave the villa happily knowing our belongings were safe. The cleaners were friendly and went about their work discreetly. We did have to make contact with the property manager a few times, once because the gate got stuck (resolved within half an hour) and he was always helpful where possible. We did have an issue with the pool in the last few days, it went cloudy, and before this could be fixed we were unfortunately caught up in the large fire nearby and the pool was further spoilt. This couldnt be rectified by the time we left as, due to the fire, all the other pools in Vale Do Lobo also needed attention. Sadly, it meant the pool was unusable for us for our last three days but we appreciate this was an unprecedented situation. Location is excellent, walking distance to the beach, Praca, restaurants and bars and the shop. Its a short car journey/uber to a huge variety of excellent restaurants (Thanks Rob for your detailed notes beforehand with advice on places to eat and visit). We couldn't have been happier with the Villa itself.

We all enjoyed our stay in this modern, spacious and well maintained villa. Pool and surrounding landscaping areas very attractive. Easy walking distance to supermarket, golf club and Praca. Daily cleaning of villa and pool was excellent. I would highly recommend and hope to return next year.

The villa was ideal for us as there were three ground floor bedrooms, one of which had direct access to the pool area, so no stairs for old people to negotiate if they don’t want to. Upstairs master suite had a beautiful outlook.

A really lovely villa - spacious and comfortable. The gardens and pool are beautiful, and so well maintained. The location is great - a 10-15min walk to the beach, and just a couple of minutes walk from the supermarket. We had a few issues on arrival, but these were sorted out very quickly by Miguel and Mari, the property manager and maid. Mari came daily to clean, which was amazing. Rob, the owner was very communicative and helpful, from booking all the way through to our stay.

The property is fantastic but and here is the issue, we only hire villas with pool heating which this did have however, when we arrived the pool was really cold, we contacted the pool manager and explained that it wasn’t heating, had he acted immediately he would have seen that the heater was broken, it wasnt sorted until near the end of the holiday which was extremely disappointing. We were refunded the pool heating money but just very annoyed as pool was just too cold. Appreciate things happen but the management of the process and delay was frustrating and our expectations werent managed as communication from property manager was poor

We had a lovely relaxing 4 weeks stay with our 2 toddlers. The villa was as beautiful and modern as it looks in the photos which was a lovely relief as you never know until you arrive! The beds are the comfiest I’ve stayed in whilst abroad and the whole villa was of super quality. The property manager was also on hand for anything we required and nothing was too much trouble. If we return to Vale do Lobo we will 100% rent this villa again!

The villa is perfectly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and within walking distance of everything you'll need. It is fitted to a high standard throughout, very well presented, clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is also fantastic and very private. Rob is a great host, very helpful and accommodating. This was our second visit and will certainly go back again!

As a family of five, everyone of us really enjoyed the vila and the location. 10mins walk from the Praca, 5 mins to the supermarket and 5 mins to the golf! Dealing with Rob was brilliant, nothing was the bother and he was extremely helpful providing loads of info on the area, restaurant’s, golf, car hire and much much more. , Vila was fabulous as was the daily cleaning service. Can’t say enough about this 5 star homely experience. Will definitely look to return.

Amazing stay with our family, villa is perfect and child friendly, in a gab location, owner is so accommodating and nothing is to much. Gardens are beautiful and in a very quiet part of vale do lobo, easy access to supermarkets, clubhouse and praca. We cannot wait to return. Thank you

Due to COVID-19 trying to get to Portugal was a huge headache. Rob was absolutley fantastic. His communication was outstanding and his is a very honorable and sincere person. The villa was abolutely stunning and in such a great location. 5 minute walk to the Golf Club and appox 15 mins to the Praca. Its beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a perfect holiday is within the villa. There is alot of building work going on around the villa at the moment but to be fair there is alot of building work going on in VDL. It didnt spoil my holiday in the slighest. I can't thank Rob enough for everything and I sincerely hope we can return next year.

The villa is well located at the entrance to VDL near the Golf Reception and Supermarket. You are not overlooked and it felt very secluded. a couple of issues were sorted very quickly with no fuss.

Loved the property and will hopefully return next year.

We had a fantastic stay at this villa, it has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, it’s quite hard to find a rental with comfortable beds, but these were exceptional. The location is great the villa is clean and modern and the gardens are fantastic. We could not fault this property and I’m looking forward to returning.

Our family has visited the Vale do Lobo/Quinta do Lago area on numerous occasions over the past 20 years and Villa Celeste is by the far the most well-equipped with luxurious furnishings and a stylish, contemporary décor. Definitely our favourite and we hope to return in the future.
