Apê Calypso è un nuovo e lussuoso appartamento trilocale per 1-4 persone nel complesso residenziale di Calypso. Ha una superficie di circa 92 m2 e inoltre ci sono altri 23 m2 di spazio esterno suddivisi su due balconi. L'appartamento è molto luminoso e ha una vista libera della città. L'edificio si trova a meno di cinque minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Centrale. C'è un parcheggio privato nel garage nella parte inferiore dell'edificio. L'appartamento ha riscaldamento e raffreddamento a pavimento. C'è internet a banda larga veloce (cablato + wifi) e c'è una vasta gamma di canali TV digitali.
All'interno, grazie al buon isolamento, non si sente quasi nessun rumore esterno. Ma la relativa tranquillità spicca anche sul balcone, in parte a causa della mancanza di traffico intenso e della parte inferiore dell'edificio che funge da sorta di cuscinetto.
L'appartamento ha un soggiorno con salottino, tavolo da pranzo e cucina a vista. C'è una smart TV (con a. A. Netflix), soundbar e un lettore Blu-ray. La cucina è dotata di macchina per caffè espresso, lavastoviglie, forno, microonde, piano cottura a induzione e frigorifero americano con distributore di ghiaccio / acqua.
Adiacente al soggiorno è un ampio balcone attrezzato con divano e tavolo da pranzo. Questo balcone esposto a sud offre molta privacy perché non è adiacente ad altri balconi. E poiché è coperto, puoi persino sederti fuori con la pioggia.
Ci sono due camere da letto per un totale di quattro posti letto. La camera da letto principale ha un comodo letto matrimoniale (210 x 180). For a great stay in Rotterdam, you can't ask for a better location or a nicer place to call home. This property is immaculate, has stunning views, every modern convenience, and is perfectly located in the city. It's steps from a tram line and only a couple of easy blocks to the Rotterdam Central train station, where you can catch trains to anywhere you want to go in the Netherlands, and all of Europe for that matter! It's a quick 35 minutes door to door from Schiphol Airport, and just a few minutes further to Amsterdam Central. Alex is an excellent host, whom we now consider a good friend, and we look forward to our next visit with great anticipation! As our title says, this property was "perfect in every way" for our needs. We had people ask us "why Rotterdam?" Our response is simple. Great people, great food, great music (jazz and classical for us, but there's great "everything"), and no big crowds like Amsterdam, which, again, is a short train ride away and worth a visit. Thanks Alex, for such a fantastic place to stay!

First of all, Alex was an excellent host and he had great information. The condo did not disappoint. Close to everything, spacious, comfortable, clean, modern. Very true to the pictures, actually was better in person.
The building is beautiful and quiet. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place and location.
Public transport was very easy and the tram is right outside the door and central station was just a couple blocks away.
I would highly recommend this condo and Alex was a gracious host.

This property is only a short walk from central station. The apartment has everything you need. The host Alex was super helpful and help us with airport times, events in the area and best way to get around. The Rotterdam zoo was close and perfect for families a must go to. The produce and other conveniences were just outside the building. If we ever have the chance to come back we would love to stay here.

This was one of the best equipped properties we have stayed in so far. The decor was first class and all the furniture was of a very high standard. The two balconies gave a superb view of the city day and night. The proximity to all forms of transport made travelling around effortless. There was even a thoughtful touch with transport cards provided in the apartment that we could top up if required. There was fresh fruit put in the apartment for our arrival too. There is a tram stop right outside the door and Centraal station was just at the end of the street. If arriving by car there is a dedicated parking place in the basement. Loved staying here , Alex was very informative and quick to respond to any questions we had. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer and explored the city even more.

We had a great week in this apartment. The location is perfect to access all the attractions of the city center. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and the owner takes good care of it. Has everything you may need, including Netflix for the evenings. The terrace and the view are outstanding. He gives you detailed explanation of the apartment and also left some fruit and other little details that makes you feel welcome. Alex is a great host!! Highly recommended!

We had a great week in this apartment. The location is perfect to access all the attractions of the city center. It is nicely decorated, comfortable and the owner takes good care of it. Has everything you may need, including Netflix for the evenings. The terrace and the view are outstanding. He gives you detailed explanation of the apartment and also left some fruit and other little details that makes you feel welcome. Alex is a great host!! Highly recommended!

Our host met us at the apartment and gave us instructions on the various amenities including espresso machine, washer, deck, fans etc. He provided maps, metro cards and suggestions. The apartment was in an exceptional location, clean, and comfortable - a perfect place to get through jet-lag. We would stay here again.

This is the most wonderful rental . We could not have been happier. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We especially enjoyed the wine, fruit and coffee provided for us. The apartment was beautifully decorated and the views were amazing. We would definitely return.

The decor was great throughout the apartment and it was super clean. The beds were comfortable too. Very roomy for an apartment in Europe. Did I mention the amazing location? You can walk to most everything, and minutes away from the train station. The host was wonderful! I've stayed at many places through the world and this certainly tops them all.

Modern Luxury in A Central Location
We loved staying at App Calypso; Alex provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing views of the city and the central location (so convenient) to Rotterdam Centraal station make this a great rental, but the care put into the details of the apartment make this worthy of a repeat. We would love to stay here again!

First class modern apartment
This modern apartment is first class. It is spacious with high ceilings, it has a large lounge-dining room with comfortable seating, a big fridge/freezer and a well equipped kitchen. The principal bedroom is also a good size with a large, comfortable double bed that is not low to the floor. The balconies add to the feeling of space. The Calypso building is smart, modern and well appointed. Although there are many other apartments in the building we were not troubled by noise at any time - obviously it has been well designed with good soundproofing. There is no traffic noise. Calypso is no more than 5 minutes walk from the main railway station (Centraal Station) and the excellent Rotterdam tram service, which is virtually step free, is centred on the railway station with trams to all parts of the city. The trams and trains run at frequent intervals throughout the day. There is also a metro system (which we did not need to use). There are many respectable restaurants within easy walking distance and the principal shopping area, with adjacent markets, is not far away and can be reached easily by tram or on foot. We visited other places by train such as Amsterdam, Den Haag, Delft and Antwerp, and Calypso, with its proximity to the railway station proved to be an excellent choice. If we visit Rotterdam again this is the where we will stay.

A beautiful, fully appointed, and well located apartment!
The Calypso Apartment exceeded our expectations. It was emmaculate, beautifully appointed and centrally located. We arrived by train and could see the red Calypso building from the Central Train Station. It was an easy walk. Alex, the owner, is a delight. He met us in the lobby, walked us through the apartment and answered all our questions. A bowl of fruit, cookies and an espresso machine, filled with coffee beans, awaited us. We felt immediately at home. There is an excellent grocery store on the main floor so we were able to get everything we needed, including pre-made salads, sandwiches and microwaveable meals. We would stay at Alex and Sandra's apartment again in a heart beat!

Equipped and starter-stocked kitchen? Check.
Stuff you didn't know you might need tucked away for your convenience? Check.
Bus/Tram transit cards provided, so you don't have to buy them? Check.
Great owner/host? Check.
We would absolutely stay here again; I'd book this place before I booked my flight, just so I knew it was available. I can't really think of a down side.
P.S. If you can figure out how to get a Maestro debit card, it helps with all the automatic parking meters around the city (though I hear there's a phone app that might work instead) and purchasing/reloading public transport tickets (though there are service desks open most hours in Centraal Station).

The best apartment we rented so far.
I absolutely agree with previous reviewers. This is very clean and modern, and very well situated apartment with amazing views from every window . It has everything you can wish for and more. Communications with host were prompt and clear, on arrival he already was there and waiting for us, and explained everything about apartment and appliances. Walking distance to central station, tram stop is right in front of the building, grocery store is in the same building. And, with all that, it is very quiet inside the apartment.

Great value, amazing space, well-located.
This beautiful apartment in one of Rotterdam's landmark modern buildings has it all. Space, light, comfort, amazing views and, in Alex, a friendly and informative host. It could not be better located for transport links, both for getting around the city or travelling further afield. There is a supermarket on the ground floor open till 22.00 for convenience. We had a fantastic week in this vibrant city, enhanced by staying in this lovely apartment. We intend to return.

GLAD TO BE IN ROTTERDAM
I had visited this beautiful city over 25 years ago when the Tall Ships were coming into the harbour. I has always wanted to come back. I planned a three week European vacation this year and Rotterdam was the last four nights on my list. I could not have been more pleased with my choice of apartment in the Ape Calypso building. I had rented 5 other apartments along the way and this outshined them all. The property was immaculate with every possible amenity you could want for cooking, or washing your clothes. The decks were wonderful and I often sat out there to have a coffee or a glass of wine. The views were spectacular as others have mentioned and the proximity to the train station was excellent for day trips. Alex was also very helpful all along the way. Would definitely recommend this wonderful apartment to anyone coming to Rotterdam. What is up with the baby head everywhere?

A Gem in the Heart of Rotterdam
This apartment was outstanding! Posh, clean, peaceful, convenient to everything! The owner, Alex, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and accommodated our every need. This was by far the best place we stayed in Europe. We cooked breakfast every morning with the well-equipped kitchen. Alex provided wonderful fresh fruit so we made fresh juices in the morning with the juicer that was provided. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom amenities were just like a luxury hotel would provide. We can't wait to visit there again.

Surpassed all expectations!
A great place to base a trip to Rotterdam. Excellent location for everything and parking was a great bonus. The views were as fabulous as mentioned in other reviews - who needs a map when you can see many of the landmarks from the window! Alex was extremely helpful and the property was spotless and, very well appointed. Would happily recommend to anyone.
