Location, Location, Location. The location and view were stunning. The resort and staff here were wonderful.
Regarding the unit- some updating and a bit maintenance could help-
Lighting in kitchen is dim,
Overhead stovetop light missing, undercabinet lighting is dim or not operating
Kitchen door hinges on loose
Cooking utensils need a refresh
Knives are incredibly dull
Bar stools no longer have any cushion left in them.
Some of outdoor chair cushions fabric has split.
Lamp in one guest room inoperable
Speaker system for music inoperable, remote batteries are corroded.

Great property with amazing views! Brought our entire family and nephew to Maui and absolutely loved the condo that we choose. Pool system was outstanding and having Dukes a 2 minute walk from our condo was very helpful. Will absolutely come back!

Love this unit! It was perfect for 4 adults and two small children. I would have my coffee in the lanai every morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely be back to this unit.

Not all rooms at Honua Kai can be said to meet the same expectations, but the 3 bedroom ocean view with KBM rentals was a wonderful experience.
I would rent with KB rentals again. The experience was great all around. We will be back.

We had a fantastic time staying at Honua Kai Resort and Spa. The condo was beautiful and stocked with with all that you would need to cook, go to the beach, or the pool. The only thing you need to do is grab some food and drinks to stock the kitchen. I would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely come back again.

This property was amazing. Our 3 bedroom gave us plenty of room to spread out. We saw many whales from the balcony and were able to see the kids in the pool at the same time. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect place to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our family!!
We loved staying in this beautiful place with awesome views and amazing whale watching from our large lanai! It was perfect for our family as it offered lots of room for nine of us. The full kitchen and grills on the property made it possible to cook dinner in a few nights also. Our grandchildren loved the many swimming pool options offered at this property as well as the beach! We enjoyed renting a cabana poolside as a special treat. We took advantage of the complimentary photo shoot for our family and were pleased with the amazing photos we had taken on the beach nearby. Duke’s Beachhouse Restaurant is right in on the property and is an excellent place to eat. The beach boardwalk is right out front and is delightful to walk on each day! Several restaurants are available within walking distance down the beach. We would definitely recommend this place and you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Great views of the ocean and property!!
*****Only issue that really needs to be addressed is the broken dishwasher. Both top and bottom racks were broken when we arrived and we had to fix them two or three times while we were there*****

Maui Wowie!
We were looking for the perfect property where our 18 and 20 year olds could have fun as well as us two adults. This property had it all. Three pools, large “adult” pool, another with water falls and a water slide, and a lazy river pool. The beach was a short 2 min walk also. The unit was impeccably cleaned upon our arrival and was completely stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as a full closet of beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Duke’s restaurant, located on the property, was delicious. We will definitely return! Mahalo!

Simply Spectacular!
This was a spectacular place to call home while visiting Maui! The condo and resort were stunningly beautiful! We loved this particular condo because it fit our family of 8 perfectly. Everyone had a bed to sleep on- 2 Queen beds in one room, and Kings in the master and 2nd bedroom. And 3 HUGE bathrooms! We have all girls so this was a plus! The kitchen had all the items needed to prepare meals-which were all really great quality. All the appliances were top of the line. The condo also has a washer and dryer which was nice to have if the need arose. The condo is situated toward the front of the Honua Kai tower on the 6th floor with the lanai opening up directly facing the pool area. The ocean views were amazing! We ate all of our meals out on the table on the lanai. Our girls LOVED all of the pools and the beach, which was a short walk from the condo. There were a couple beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards to use in the condo. The beach towel kiosks located by the pool area were easy to use and conveniently located. The beach area was so nice and clean and we walked the beach walk on numerous occasions. The beach and pool area never felt crowded. KBM was so easy to work with and were very organized with check-in, check-out, car rental,etc. The resort is a 47 minute scenic drive from the airport. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!
