Posizione nella medina, unico staff cordiale, phon disponibile, presenza condizionatore
Mancanza di insegna esterna che indichi che il Riad è convenzionato con Booking, pulizia scarsa (.. presenza di formiche in stanza), infissi e bagno da riammodernare, sotto il lavandino tinozza x raccogliere l'acqua che fuoriusciva dal tubo, colazione scarsa 2 tazze di caffè con 1 bustina di zucchero, 1 fetta di torta confezionata, pane, burro e marmellata misurate.
Abbiamo chiesto del latte, ci è stato versato un goccio nel caffè e portato via... pagamento solo in contanti (resto di 4€ non ridato). Prezzo troppo elevato x come si presenta il Riad.

The actual house was nice, authentic and interesting. The furnishings were typically Tunisian which are lovely 😍
The directions to get there! It took us 90 minutes to find out accommodation from the railway station. We had google maps too. We had to pay someone to get us some of the way to it. Darr Baaziz was off the main street under an archway which made it more difficult to find so better instructions necessary please

It was a clean and decently run property by the owner.
The breakfast was very good and the owner was very kind and helpful .
The sink in the washroom didn’t have any plumbing so after finding out we didn’t use it.

Beautiful guest house in the old quarter of Sousse. Lovely decor. Host was very accomodating
Important to know that as this guest house is in the old town it cannot be directly accessed by car. Taxi has to drop you off outside of the old town and then it is about 5 to 6 min on foot to the guest house.

Very beautiful place and nice breakfast. The staff were amazing and showed us this beautiful Dar and told us about it history. The terrace is worth the sunset view and it is located in a quiet street of the Medina right next to everything
Towels had a bit of a weird smell and were a bit old, maybe a change wouldn’t hurt.

The air conditioning and WiFi worked. They let us use their washing machine, refrigerator and microwave. The manager (who speaks no English) is very friendly. The location is quiet and a 10-minute walk from restaurants and the train station. The owner provided helpful information re. directions to the louage(shared taxi). Good value for the price.
The manager said he uses WhatsApp but he never answered my texts (the owner, contacted through Booking.com, was very responsive.). We stayed several nights and no one offered to clean our room. We did get fresh towels. The curtains in our room did not block out the morning light so we awoke very early because of the sun.

Pleasant place.
Could be much nicer with a bit of effort.
Seemed to suffer neglect since some long distant makeover. I was only one there so atmosphere was a little limited.
Wifi is poor over most of the property.

Location is excellent right in the medina. No car access though. Host was very friendly, the entire house is beautifully traditional with a great terrace on top. Breakfast was delicious.
Unfortunately during our stay Sousse was experiencing water shortage, so we had no water in the evening. This is not the host's fault of course, but it did influence our comfort.

A very beautiful house with common living room, yard and terraces, the breakfast is fantastic, the room is stylish and warm.
Just be aware of that we are in a drought period, the city stops the water supply from 5pm to 5 am, so we need to ask for the solution from the owner.

The location. The room was quite big and nice. And the man in charge was nice.
The breakfast could be better. A bit expensive for its value.

Owner is very friendly! Nice roof top to get above the Medina chaos and into the sun (in the cooler months). Great old house (1775) with lots of charm.
The Medina at night could feel a little sketchy in the quieter parts.

Charming Arabic house with history in the middle of the splendid Medina in Sousse. Welcoming, comfy, peaceful and with on top a delicious breakfast !
