The villa has easy 25 steps from the street level which was very important for us not young people. Great location: easy few minutes walk to grocery store, restaurant, local bus stop that can take you to the beautiful beach and bus to Positano are across the street ; not difficult 10-15 minutes walk down the hill to the bus stop to Amalfi, Sorrento. The terrace and view are beautiful. But the villa has some problems: the layout of the rooms is not comfortable. Bedroom 1 doesn’t have windows and if you need to go to kitchen or living room you have to go through two other bedrooms or go outside of the house using hallway and enter kitchen from the terrace . Also this bedroom doesn’t have internet service. Bedroom 2 doesn’t have bathroom adjacent to it. You have to use bathroom in living room and to reach it or reach kitchen and living room you have to go through bedroom 3. As a result Bedroom 3 doesn’t have privacy. This layout really uncomfortable in case of 3 different families. The hot water is a real problem. During our 2 weeks stay I was able to have hot shower only 2 times and it lasts for max 10 minutes . In the kitchen we never had hot water . Toaster didn’t work. The host gave us one big and one small towel per person for the whole week. Which is definitely not enough. Also not enough supply of toilet paper and you have to buy laundry detergent. It was not supplied at all. TV didn’t work. No coffee machine. And unfortunately the host was not very pleasant and welcomed person. I called him with questions next day after check in and he never got back to me.

Beautiful tile. Musty smell in one bedroom. Sheets appeared not clean, were scratchy, flat pillows. Hot water disappeared gradually by second day, until we complained, then magically reappeared.

We arrived in the evening and were taken by the fantastic view from the terrace of the house. The terrace is simply superb. The agent welcomed us well and gave us several tips for our stay. The house is lovely: rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Nevertheless, we were surprised by the agent asking for extra electricity, internet and cleaning fees but also for the city tax: none of that was mentioned on the site! Again, the bathrooms are horrible: showers are old, there is no hot water all the time and the towels were not enough. Finally, a huge complaint on the cleanliness of the apart! The plates, cups and spoons were all left dirty in the cupboard! The floors were barely swept and the terrace needed deep cleaning! The location is excellent but the apartment needs refurbishing and solid maintenance.
