Kitchen in room with all things needed. Close to sea and town. Staff friendly nice cooked breakfast

Bed was slightly hard and uncomfortable but I do have bad hips so for others could be ok

Room was comfortable and clean with all facilities clean towels full kitchenette with fridge and cooker, brilliant

We only wanted a simple breakfast which was provided buy the owners which was good.

I read the reviews but nobody seemed to mentioned two main complaints.1/ The hotel is near a busy road and the noise is very intrusive especially when your trying to get to sleep.2/The stairs leading up to our room were challenging when you start to descend especially when your elderly you have to be very careful and this should be more prominent in the information on this property.3/The room we were in was very small with tired decoration and furniture.

Best thing about Steam Packet is the hosts. They are very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is great and very good value.

Very noisy outside, road and station and a generator that started about 0300 am

Mark was very welcoming and an excellent cook breakfast was great, we would definitely come again.

It was an excellent choice for our trip to visit family and friends in the area. The breakfast was great, it was also very useful to have self-catering facilities in the room. Arleta and Mark are very welcoming and friendly.We will definitely return.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room with a mini kitchen. Great breakfasts, with a good vegetarian option. A well stocked bar with an interesting selection of ales and ciders. Public transport options are very accessible with bus stops just outside, and the railway station is two minutes walk away. A pleasant short riverside walk takes you to the town centre.
