The location was perfect as it was 5 minutes from the tunnel and to hop on the A16 to explore the area. Big shopping centre 5 minutes away for a rainy day and to bring back some cheap wine. The gite was very self contained and had everything we needed. Loved waking up to the views over the field and the cows looking in the window. Very easy trip that was close to everything we needed but felt like we were in the middle of nowhere for a relaxing time. Host was lovely, very helpful and friendly. She also had a box so we could watch English TV when we wanted.

The sofa wasn't the most comfy to sit on for an evening. The bed was very saggy in the middle, so not the best night's sleep.

Great location, comfortable and characterful. Great, helpful host.
