The Beach House, Shanklin è una bellissima casa vacanza a tre piani con angolo cottura situata nel cuore del sempre popolare e fiorente lungomare di Shanklin.
Essendo a pochi passi da una delle distese più dorate di sabbia dorata dell'Isola di Wight e sullo sfondo di drammatiche scogliere di arenaria, la casa sulla spiaggia è davvero un rifugio ideale per allontanarti dal trambusto di un affollato vita.
La Beach House è stata arredata con gusto secondo uno standard elevato ed è completamente attrezzata. Da ogni stanza si può godere di una vista mozzafiato sul Canale della Manica e sulle scogliere di arenaria circostanti.
Al primo piano è presente una confortevole zona giorno a pianta aperta. La stanza è accogliente e invitante con porte francesi che si aprono su un balcone di Giulietta.
La cucina è completamente attrezzata con una vasta gamma di utensili ed elettrodomestici per tutte le esigenze culinarie, sia che tu voglia un delizioso pasto fatto in casa, sia che desideri semplicemente riscaldare il take away di ieri.
The Beach House può ospitare comodamente cinque in tre camere, più una culla, se richiesto.
Al piano terra si trova una moderna camera matrimoniale con mobili in rovere. Anche su questo piano c'è un ampio w. c.
L'ultimo piano ha una seconda camera da letto matrimoniale e una camera singola molto generosa - entrambe le camere hanno armadi a muro che le rendono spaziose e ariose. Il bagno è situato a questo livello che ha un box doccia elettrico.
La Beach House dispone di un posto auto assegnato in un parcheggio privato a brevissima distanza dal mare.

We’ve stayed before and we always want to come back. With family on the island we like to know we have a base from which we can easily visit relatives, but which is sufficiently homely to come back to at the end of a long day. The Beach House is that. It’s perfectly positioned opposite the beach and near the entertainments. It’s always peaceful and quiet and allows me to either go to the Fisherman’s cottage, the Steamer, the arcade or jump in the sea for a dip.

I have just returned after a short stay for 4 nights at The Beach House with my 18 year old daughter. The property was perfect for us, clean, great facilities and in a fantastic position on the Esplanade. We bought an Isle of Wight parking permit and had no problem finding a space in the Esplanade carpark directly opposite the property. The owners were helpful and friendly when we booked the property and check in/out was easy.
We managed to visit a number of places: The Needles and Alum Bay, Osborne House, Godshill miniature village, Arreton Barns, Ventnor and Newport however our highlight was booking an Alpaca walking experience with West Wight Alpacas in Wellow...fantastic fun!

We stayed 7 nights over Springbank half term.
The location is perfect and only steps away from the beach. We used the parking space at the top of the cliff. The cliff steps were closed so we went along the promenade and up the path but this was fine. Took about 10 minutes to walk.
The house is well equipped with all required kitchen equipment. There was a problem with the fridge before we arrived but the owners made sure we had a mini one to use during our stay. Not ideal but brilliant considering the circumstances. We would definitely recommend staying at the beach house if you are visiting Shanklin.

This was a great place to stay to see Isle of Wight. On the beach with many interesting things to do close by and easy access to the rest of the island. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

Apartment was just as described right on the seafront great views. Public car park outside the door which I purchased the visitor all island ticket which I would thoroughly recommend. House was in excellent condition throughout from decoration to carpets,floors,beds, furniture and plenty of home comforts too and little things left by the owners which were greatly appreciated. Very clean too would recommend on to anyone.

Beach also excellent for parasols/loungers/pedlos/paddle boards/kayaks.

So much to do and perfectly close to the beach . My parents worried it might be noisy at night being so close to hotels, restaurants and car parks. But it was very peaceful. We couldn’t have had a better stay. The property is spotless and very homely with everything you might need.

Great Holiday House
We’ve had a great week staying in this lovely house which was really clean with comfortable beds and everything you needed to cook. Good Wi-Fi and access to Amazon was great for the teens! Lots of nice places to eat out nearby and good walking, running and cycling routes. Supermarket in walking distance with larger stores a 5min drive away.

Cufley’s stay at the Beach House
What a beautiful property! Perfectly comfortable stay and so clean and homely. Cannot fault anything at all. When we got there, we had a lovely welcome gift of chocolates, biscuits and crisps, not to mention, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toilet rolls etc… Will certainly want to return to the Beach House on our future stays (as we have family there, so are regulars to the island). Look forward to our next visit. With many thanks, the Cufley’s A++++++

Weekend in IOW
The check in process was easy and all the info we needed sent before our stay. The location of the beach house is excellent and although on the seafront very quiet. We decided not to use the allocated parking space and bought a tourist permit for the car park right outside the house. This was very convenient as we often used the car during our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed including towels and bedding. We would definitely stay there again.

Simply lovely. Everything was immaculate and so many really thoughtful touches to make our stay special.

Girls weekend
Perfect place to stay for a girls weekend. Yvonne and David couldn't have been more helpful, and all communication (including a change of date due to covid) was dealt with promptly. The house is well equipped, in a great location and has everything you could possibly need.

Ideal Family Holiday
Great house in a great location on the IOW. The house was warm and welcoming, particularly with the addition of a welcome basket. The sea views were wonderful and the proximity to both the Old Town and the beachfront with arcades, crazy golf etc were just ideal.

Great seaside break
We had a lovely stay at The Beach House. The location was perfect for exploring the island. Our boys loved the fact they could literally walk 20 steps to kick a ball/play cricket on the beach in the evenings!
The property was spotless, lovely small welcome pack was a nice touch. Bedrooms all spacious & great to wash up in the kitchen with a view of the sea!
Recommended TO Do’s are: bembridge, only RNLI station on its own unique pier in the UK! Free to access. Seatown, lovely views. Needles - if visiting in peak season, do the boat trip round the Needles then leave, save your money at the tacky amusement park & head off to the beautiful coastal drive along to Compton Bay.
We also took the Hovercraft over to Portsmouth for the day & went up Spinnaker tower & some shopping in Gunwharf Quay.
We didnt use the parking space allocated with the beach house & applied & paid online for a council parking permit so we could park in the Spa carpark directly opposite & we could use it in many other car parks across the island on our days out, so we found it paid for itself. (And no moaning kids walking up the hill!) the lift had reopened while we were there but there is a small charge.
Communication with David & Yvonne was just brilliant- they couldn’t do enough. We were lucky enough to be staying there while they were in the area so they stopped by with a kind bottle of wine!
Highly recommend the Waterfront Inn just 200metres away for a lovely family meal & great service. The boys loved Toppings just around the corner- all flavours of ice creams, all cones & all toppings you can dream of!!
