Location
I was only able to stay in the third room I tried because the electric sockets and lights didn’t work in the first two. The A/cC unit in the room I stayed in was next to the bed so I slept at the foot-end. The regular power cuts were incredibly irritating.

Frühstück top, beste bisher nach über 3wochen. Reichlich Auswahl.

Didn’t have the buffet but had omelettes/porridge/dahl etc. delicious. Hot lemon ginger honey yum with heaps of ginger
Maybe forewarning about how to get there. We arrived after dark and hadn’t realised that Tuktuks etc can’t get through the laneways. It’s a maze and no one could direct us.
But that’s also the charm of it I guess

Location as it is near Satyalok.
In this horrible humid weather they deliberately kept the Air Condition off from the main switch board.
Intercom never worked. Even asking for drinking water was difficult.
For the last 8yrs I am go to Benaras atleast twice a year. First time I had such a horrible experience.

The property was nice. The food was very good, and served a good cause. I ate most of my meals in Varanasi in the hotel for this reason. Staff were very helpful and supportive when I tried to speak Hindi. The rooftop terrace was great too with an amazing view.
The location was convenient, but a little bit hard to find. Because it was down some very narrow and poorly illuminated alleyways, I would feel uncomfortable arriving there alone at night. However, this is obviously not the property’s fault. Additionally, the lack of AC in the room was disappointing (though there was a ceiling fan). I believe guests had to pay an extra 500 rupees or so per night to access this. While I understand the added cost for the hotel, this high price put me off paying for the AC, which made the stay quite uncomfortable in the 32-36 degree heat.

The location was close to the ghats
Everything was dirty. There were always bugs in the toilet. It was run as a charity organization bit no one seemed to know much about it. They all said yeah thats my boss does that.

the friendliness and help of staff
it was virtually inaccessible, requiring a long walk by foot to get there from where a tuk tuk can drop you Narrow steep stairs up to the room. Dirty. Rats inside. limited food options

The staff were all AMAZING. Omar and Chandu and everyone else made the stay enjoyable and comfortable. They provided useful tips about the city, and about local transport and shopping. Chandu organized a lovely early morning boat trip. The breakfast was healthy and sumptuous, and prepared with a lot of love. Nightly concerts on the terrace are a treat too. The room was modestly sized, but super clean and had the basic amenities.

Food was very good and reasonably priced.
Services. My personal experience, no response to the phone call. The guest house is not open 24 hrs. Staff is inexperienced.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooftop cafe. Live music up there some nights. Also very nice cafe on ground floor. Fabulous breakfast options. Excellent location for early morning visit to ghats.
Nothing to say here!

Location is very nice, restaurant food amazing, everything was fresh and made to order, even the soups were made individually, they're that fresh, very happy with this guys 🙂🙂🙂
Great cafe with awesome coffee opposite, nice enough staff, rooftop area with view plus evening live music from 7:30-21:00.
The 10:30pm curfew. This is definitely too early to be locking up doors at a tourist hotel here in Varanasi. 24 hour access should be allowed.
Barking and fighting dogs all night, monkeys scuttling around right outside my window on the air-conditioner all night.
Plug/electricity sockets not working properly, fan had only 1 mode (too fast).
Bed was extremely uncomfortable, i don't mind a hard bed but this one wasn't nice.
Ancient bed frame, table, cupboards, dirty walls, everything could do with a massive renovation to bring it out of the 15th century and into the 21st century, especially with the double room rates being 2500 rupees per night 😲
Toilets were wet and dirty 90% of the time.
I was asked at multiple different times for more and more personal information, about 5 different times, for numbers, addresses, this and that, even though i gave it all upon check-in, i understand this information is required, but this hotel asked for too much, all other places I stayed the last 6 weeks did not ask for all of this.
I also saw other tourists in the office lots of the time, and for looonnnng periods, nit just 2 minutes, filling out all kinds of forms, printing documents, signing all sorts of stuff for like 30 minutes at times.

Great location, hot water in the shower and nice cafe downstairs.

Restaurant downstairs with a great personel, good food and profits going to disadvantaged children is a great advantage. They also hava a rooftop restaurant.
Rooms are very basic and small, toilets could be cleaner. Blankets on beds are smelly.

The location was excellent for our stay. The combination of accommodation and healthy food with a varied International menu was comforting. We really liked knowing the money we paid was benefiting the children’s school. Tours were also offered and the guide was informative with excellent English. We highly recommend these tours as it brings Varanasi to life. The staff really made our stay extra special and after an 8 night stay is was sad saying goodbye. I want to conclude by saying the bed was comfortable and the hot showers were excellent. I would rate this accommodation as comfortable for the traveller who is seeking an insight into the lanes close to the ghats.
It’s not the properties fault, but local dogs do make noise in the lane. One of our rooms was on the first floor very close to the evening noise. This was easily fixed as we pre packed ear plugs and in general India is alive 24 hours a day everywhere.

Considering it is a Guesthouse, the ratio between quality and cost is good. Nice position in the heart of Varanasi, very good food with international menu.
Cleaning can be improved as well as the furnitures in the rooms.

We arrived to see a rat scuttling around the dining room. Later on, there were mice running around as we checked in and the staff member didn't bat an eyelid.

The food was delicious, and the location incredible to see the Ghats, they helped me a lot to find the places and also I got this problem with my train ticket, and they helped me to solve it and was so goo with me, they also gave me the same room that night too. Thanks to Amar and all the team, for the great chats, attention and advises, also the tour on early morning was so interesting. And at the end I forgot to give them the key of the room...and they told me that wasn't a problem, were so comprehensive with me! I recommend 100% this place, they will make your stay in Varanasi, so so much better!!
