This townhouse is a very good value for the area. It is clean, nicely appointed, and well-run. It is a little smaller in person than the wide-angled lens photos make it appear, but overall good space for our family of adult children to stay in for a weekend. Location is convenient and overall it was perfect for what we needed.

This was a great location for a family to enjoy aspen and the Snowmass area. The pool is right outside the condo for easy access. It is easy to get to all the activities in Snowmass as well as the surrounding Aspen area. This condo was clean, great space for two families. We loved it!

We had several significant problems (loud construction noise and excessive dust from the construction) that were beyond the control of iTrip, the local management company. Their response to our concerns was extraordinary. Matt immediately came directly to the condo in which we were staying. He took us to see other options in the area. He even helped us move our things, ensuring that the new rental was all that we had hoped for. iTrip is a phenomenal organization, incredibly accommodating, courteous, and helpful. They genuinely were interested in a successful and happy vacation experience for my family and me. I can not say enough nice things about them.

Nice unit...good location. Great Pool / Spa steps away. Parking is easy. And a short walk to the main base area...now if the hill could just put an escalator in instead of the stairs....it would be golden!

We stayed here with two families for a March break ski vacation. The location to the ski school and lifts was excellent. Everything was great about this condo and we would stay here again.

This condo is walking distance from the SnowMass Base Village and steps from the pool and hot tub. Primo location that cannot be beat. Just Enough space for 4 kids and 4 adults. Would definitely rent again

The condo fit our two families of 4 quite nicely. Very clean and well stocked. The short walk to Treehouse ski school was super convenient for our four boys (ages 6-9). The hot tub and pool were great. Close to bus stop to Aspen as well.

After we finally located this town home (its door number is not obviously consistent with others...but it's next to the hot tubs and pool) we moved in and got settled in the very clean home, with a well appointed kitchen. (We had to request more cups, salad plates and stool for the table to accommodate our 8 guests , but this was quickly provided.)
Bedrooms and bathrooms were tight, except for the Main Bedroom upstairs. Downstairs bedroom was noisy at night, when any movement (walking, flushing toilet, etc. ) from upstairs could be heard.
No place for recycle in the outdoor space marked "Trash and Recycle", so it all went together.
Easley parking for two cars, others had to pay to park in the lot up the road.
Hot tub pools are very close, with bath and shower, but the water wasn't as clear as it could be, and several had itchy skin after a soak.

We just spent a week in Snowmass and had an unbelievable time. The condo is clean and modern, perfectly located near the base village and ski school. 5 minute walk and you are on the mountain. Timely response to any requests made. Well stocked kitchen for all cooking needs. Convenient and easy parking. Will definitely come back.

We had a great trip with 4 adults and 6 kids in Tamarack Townhome #29. It was a great central location right across the road from the Treehouse and Snowmass base. Check-in Check-out was easy and the townhome had all the essentials we needed for the week.

We really enjoyed the stay it was perfect for our family. We liked the fact that everything was included such as toiletries and bath/cleaning supplies. Location was also great for us to take kids to the lifts. The only thing we would have liked to have was some Christmas decor since it was a week of Christmas. Beds were a little firm more than we liked. Overall a great experience and we will be back!

Beautiful home in a great location
This is a fabulous home in a great location! The home is very clean, comfortable and beautiful. Kitchen is well stocked. House was a bit dry but humidifiers were in each closet - great amenity and much appreciated. The management team was awesome and very responsive. Highly recommend this home….I would rent again!

Great Location
We loved our family ski trip to Snowmass! Unit #29 in Tamarack had everything we needed for 9 people, including space and kitchen items. Rarely have we stayed in a unit with enough cooking items, silverware and plates. The unit was also easy walking distance to lifts, shops and restaurants. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Good location
We had six adults, which was about enough for the property. The location is convenient and with adequate snow you can ski in to right across the street. It’s a short walk to the lifts to start the day. The pool and hot tubs are nice and right out front. There is some noise from the hot tubs at night if you are an early to bed person, but it closes at 10 . Bathrooms are small but updated and nice.

I have been renting private ski properties for 15+ years. I tend to rent higher-end units. When I reserved this property, it was the among the most expensive places I've rented, so my expectations were high. Unfortunately, I can't help feeling like I was taken. The value for the money is the worst I've ever experienced. I've rented numerous other properties in Aspen Snowmass, so I have a fair basis of comparison.
The good: The location is a short 7-8 minute walk to the lifts. The app that the property owners created is extremely informative. (However, it had the property address wrong, which made for a challenging arrival.)
The bad: The unit is being remodeled. While the kitchen and bathrooms are nearly complete, there were some significant items unfinished. On the plus side, all of these can hopefully be addressed:
1) The shower in the downstairs bath did not work. This effectively made it a 2.5 BA property, which was NOT a good fit for my family, nor is it what I contracted and paid for.
2) The floor trim on the first step going upstairs was completely loose. After we'd tripped over it a few times, we set it to the side.
3) Many of the kitchen cabinets didn't have handles on them. With nothing to grip, opening them was difficult and inconvenient... especially the trash cabinet.
4) The hearth of the fireplace wasn't finished. The dryrock was exposed as was the wiring for the fireplace switch/timer.
5) The smoke detector was unassembled.
6) There were numerous areas throughout the unit where lighting and ceiling fixtures had been replaced, but the drywall hadn't been patched and painted. It just looked bad.
7) The kitchen is not well appointed. Because of Covid, we planned to prepare all of our meals in the condo. There were no potholders, and the quality of the pots, pans and cooking utensils wasn't great: Utensils would melt when you cooked with them; non-stick pans were scratched and chipped: there were no cookie/baking sheets.
The ugly: The layout of this property is extremely tight. The entryway opens right into the kitchen, and there isn't adequate space or seating to take off/put on ski/snowboard boots. If you have a significant number of people staying in the unit (we had 7), you will have a lot of gear and storing/organizing it will be tough. There is a small closet and some shelves/cubbies, but the amount of space is insufficient.
There's more to tell, but I'm out of space to write.
I would not personally stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Capital Peak. The lodging was very nice especially the air conditioning as the weather was unseasonably warm during our time there. The communication with the property manager was excellent. We would definitely book another stay if ever in the area again.
