It was close to everything and I’ve stayed south numerous times. I enjoyed the change of scenery, farmhouse, massage and great grocery store close by.

i did love the fact that we had washer/dryer and that kitchen utensils were available also the ice packs were also very helpful, also the view from the room was a plus. it will suck once something is built at the beach front property in front. The security staff was nice they were the only people i saw that works for mara laguna during my stay.

Communication with Gineli could have been better i had to reach out through management to get her to contact me back especially with things that are time sensitive. Also the patio furniture is well pass due its time it felt as it was going to unravel while i was sitting on it. The pool was also available but has a lot of old wood trash surrounding it, was a bit on an eye sore. besides those things its a very nice place to stay for your visit.

Lourdes, our concierge, was incredible. The suite was large, nice and well-equipped for cooking. Likely could have slept 4-6 people with no issue.

There was construction right outside the living room, across the street, which started relatively early.

The living space was open and a good size. The balcony was very nice and had a great ocean view. The pool area was very well done, except the bar there has been shut down indefinitely.

It’s not that I didn’t like the property because of the following thoughts, this may be helpful for the owners....The cushions on the outdoor furniture on the balcony need to be replaced, they are very worn. We did have a problem with the hot water, it was very sporadic. A cutting board and a big bowl would be good additions in the kitchen as we cooked a lot during our stay

Super friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was so spacious and comfortable. Very nice pool, with a little bar right next to it. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need for basic cooking. Super market right across the street to stock your fridge. Comfy beds. There’s a crocodile in the lake! Board games and books for use in the apartment.

No housekeeping, the room was cleaned before we got there then that was it. No one came in to make beds, bring fresh towels, empty bins etc. you’re on your own. There is a washing machine to do your own wash. No beach towels or beach equipment was provided. There are extra linens and bath towels so we just used a sheet to sit on and little bath towels every time we went to the pool or beach. We had to ask the office for trash bags when it was time to empty the trash. Could have definitely used some pool towels. There is no beach access on the property. We ended up renting a golf cart (which it seemed like everyone on the island does) and had to drive to get to town or the beach. Tv reception is a little fuzzy but are you in Belize to watch TV?? Construction site is right across the street. It wasn’t too bad except one morning they seemed to be extra noisy and woke us up. For the most part they did not disturb us, but then again we live in NYC.
