Cavazza Palazzo Foscari Mocenigo dalle Zogie (i.e. "from the beads") is a magnificent late gothic building of the first half of the Fifteenth Century that was donated in 1460 by Tommaso Cavazza, to the Confraternity of St. Mary of the Charity, then sold in 1487 to Michiel Foscari. Rio del Piombo and the near Rio della Fava, which insists on the Palazzo facade, are plowed by gondolas or boats goods, but this won't hurt you at night.
There’s the satellite TV. Internet is assured by WI-FI line whose access key you will find written within the apartment.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location of the apartment is perfect and had all the amenities one could need. Cristiana was incredibly kind, as was Mrs. Claudia. I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family!

I highly recommend staying at Palazzo Cavazza Foscari!
It is in a wonderful location in the center of Venezia.
The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
We also had a lovely gift waiting for us on arrival, Also cold lemon & mint water waiting for us on arrival on a very hot day, which was very welcome and much appreciated.
Our host Cristiana was wonderful and warm to communicate with throughout the entire process from booking to staying at her beautiful old Palazzo apartment.
All in all It was an amazing chance to experience Venetian life , living like a local!
Thankyou Cristiana for everything!

We had a great time staying at this apartment. It was centrally located, above an excellent bakery, and had plenty of space for us. Highly recommend booking this for your next visit to Venice.

We really enjoyed our stay in this perfectly located apartment within a Venetian Palazzo. The apartment is as described and the images show. It’s perfectly located somewhat between St. Marks Square and the Rialto bridge.
Therefore we were able to have a nice, relaxing lunch break during our sightseeing tours through Venice. The apartment is very well equipped and we were welcomed with some cookies and Prosecco though checking in late. The host was very friendly, proactive and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay in this very lovely, historic apartment! The apartment is conveniently located, close to many little shops and restaurants and transportation on the Grand Canal. We especially liked watching the gondolas go by on the canal. Communication was very good and we very much appreciated that Ms. Claudia was there to greet us after our trains were late.

This is a traditional Venetian apartment in a good location, and with a yummy pasticceria just outside your door. But what makes this place truly special is the host! Cristiana makes you feel like an honored guest and is available to help in any way she can. Even though she was not onsite during our stay she guided us through a difficult week and we will be forever grateful.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful gothic palace, with all the essentials. The location is very convenient for arriving with cases, and discovering Venice.
(Pasticceria Ponte delle Paste, situated next to the entrance to the palace is a must for coffee and cakes.)

Very comfortable and homey. It was like living hundred years ago with all the artifacts and waterways under your window. Yet, modern interior and appliances.
A wonderful stay. Central to all of Venice.

The location was unbeatable and security was excellent. The host was wonderful and responsive and bent over backwards to make this a special stay, especially considering that we were a bit late due to the crowds during Carnivale. Keep in mind that this is a very old building and so heating and getting it just right for sleeping can be an issue. The ceilings are high and gorgeous in our opinion. The bakery is next door for a nice espresso in the morning and all the tenants we met were warm and engaging. The location is unbeatable! The balcony very romantic! We highly recommend this VRBO and molto grazie to our charming host!

The apartment was immaculate and the owner offered help and advice that made our stay like staying with friends. There was some construction noise in the neighbourhood, but that was in no way the owner's responsibility and it is doubtless temporary.

Cristiana had our apartment filled with all the essentials we could want. Her place is so close, so central to all amenities. It has a lovely little balcony overlooking a quiet canal. My sister and I highly recommend this place, and if we're fortunate enough to ever return, we will be booking with Crisitiana again.

sejour parfait

Everything you need in a place for you & your partner. Cristinanna was brilliant with communication & lots of helpful tips on places to eat etc. my husband & I had a lovely few days break away. Place was very clean & immaculate. Even a welcome bottle of Prosecco in fridge. Was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend this place 7mons to St Marco & less than 5mins to Railto bridge.

Apartment in Palazzo with lots of character, in a central location
It was a great place to stay in Venice, as it is very well located, near the Rialto Bridge, but tucked away above a small canal with its own beautiful courtyard. The apartment is very well equipped, and tastefully decorated. Cristiana was a kind and thoughtful host and went to a lot of trouble to facilitate our arrival providing information about transport from the airport. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Queen of Venice
You will feel like the Queen of Venice when you stay here.
This is a fabulous place when you visit Venice. The description is accurate; you are right on the Grand Canal & very close to the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square.
From your terrace you can see the gondolas and other boats gliding by.
Luisa Christiana is a fabulous host. She is warm, friendly and knows Venice well. She was an enormous help to me in arranging services. I came with a very bad knee and the water taxi, porters etc. were arranged by her. All were tremendously helpful.
If you are fortunate enough to stay here you will be very happy in Venice.

Our second trip to Venice was very pleasant, greatly due to staying at Cristiana's historic apartment. It is perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location makes it easy to reach the main sites, close to vaporetto stops, and to great gelato and candy stores. The apartment has many books on Venice in different languages, and has all necessary toiletries, kitchen utensils, and even bathrobes and umbrellas. The instructions to reach the apartment were very detailed and easy to follow. We asked Cristiana about musical events and other information we could not discover, and she provided the information to make our trip easier. We hope to stay in this apartment on our next visit to Venice

Magical
A balcony, on two canals, in a palace - what more could one ask for?
We are delighted that we chose this apartment for our stay in Venice. The apartment itself is part of a small palace, and you walk through the open entrance of the palace every time to get to the first floor apartment. You can just imagine what it would have been like a couple of hundred years ago, with gondolas coming to the door and the busy traffic outside one the canal.
As it is, there is still lots of busy traffic to be seen from the balcony, especially in the morning with canal deliveries and collections to the shops and businesses nearby. As the day settles down, gondolas slide past the adjacent canal.
The apartment itself is stylishly furnished to make one feel part of Venice, and the host is helpful and welcoming.
And if you enjoy a morning coffee and cake, your walk will be little more than 10 metres to one of the best Pasticcerias in the city.
Enjoy, and if you can, be in Venice for at least a week!

Charming place to stay in Venice!
This apartment in an old palazzo in Venice is a perfect place to stay for couples. It is situated not far from the Rialto and yet in a quite quiet part of the city. It is practically placed on the canal, so one really gets the feeling of staying in Venice. Christina is the perfect hostess and had provided us with boots for "aqua alta" - luckily we didn't need neither them nor the umbrellas or rain ponchos she lends her guests. She also provided us with names of her favourite restaurants and they are really worth trying! The Rialto Bridge and Piazza Sant Marco are only short strolls away from the apartment and from the boat stop at Rialto you can get practically everywhere in Venice within a very short time. We stayed for four nights and we really enjoyed the apartment!
